About this ebook

In the Style of 'Wind in the Willows' comes Oz.

This is Oscar's first summer. He and his sister Wendy are often found swimming in the river as Otter's naturally do. They will have the adventures of helping repair the dam at Beaversdam, and joyfully participate in events at the summer fest. Oscar learns his Father's trade of fishing as the family works together in the harvest. But, all is not paradise. The family will be challenged by a fearsome event, but will find the true value of living in a loving community.

To the reader: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, killed off Sherlock Holmes in, "The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes". Then a few years later he brought Holmes back in, "The return of Sherlock Holmes". I have always thought that a better explanation for Sherlock Holmes was needed as to what really happened during those missing years. It is my hope that this story does just that, and fits with Doyle's character with added humanity.
