    Not only is self-esteem the key to success but it is the key to everything, especially interpersonal relations. If we don’t regard ourselves highly with the confidence to achieve high self-esteem, then we can’t expect other people to admire us if we don’t think we deserve it. Most of us seek approval from someone, your boss, family, friends, partners, parents and your children. When we do that, we run the risk of approval not being given that could stop us from achieving our goals.

    We should all strive not to let anyone’s indifference or disapproval affect our self-esteem. We are all aware, that we all stand-alone against the world and need to isolate ourselves from put-downs or rejection. We need to understand who has rebuffed us and have the attitude you have made a mistake my friend. If you don’t want to be my partner in life that is your problem, not mine. If you do not want to employ me, you have missed out on a great employee. If you won’t publish my book that is your problem. You have missed out on a loving partner, a great employee, or an author you could be proud of. There are many other endeavours we seek and need the approval of someone to achieve our goals.
