Crystal's Dreams - LaVonna Moore
CHAPTER 1
CRYSTAL MOON
Crystal Moon woke up drenched in sweat after having another vivid dream about a man who was torturing and killing women. Crystal was a psychic, and she knew and felt in her heart that these weren't ordinary dreams. The women's screams were haunting her at night when she was trying to go to sleep. She needed to go to the police station and report her dreams. She had been dreaming about the same man for over a week. She never observed the killer's face in her dreams, but she had to do something to try to stop him from striking again. She started writing down notes about the terrible things she had witnessed in her dreams. She knew the police wouldn't believe a word she was saying. They would think she was insane, and the whole thing was ludicrous. Or she was just having nightmares and not visions of something that was really happening somewhere. Crystal knew that she would have to make the police detective a believer in psychics before he would take her seriously.
Crystal had been having dreams that would come true since she was a young girl. She would tell her sister or someone else each time she had a dream or a vision. Then when the dream came true, she would have a witness. Over the years, Crystal had many dreams that would come true, but this was the first time that she was witnessing something so horrific in her dreams. She didn't know why she was having these types of dreams now.
CHAPTER 2
DETECTIVE ORTEGA
Crystal went to the local police station in her small historic town of Goliad, Texas, and she met with a police detective. The detective's name was Diego Ortega. Detective Ortega didn't know what to think about Crystal's dreams in the beginning. She told him about her very first dream where she watched a man wearing black gloves torturing a woman at a river. She told him that the woman had long silky black hair in a ponytail and was wearing blue jean shorts with a red t-shirt. She also observed that the woman had on black and red sandals. She told him that the man had drowned the woman in the river, and the woman would be found floating face down in the river by two young men fishing. Detective Ortega thanked Crystal for coming into the police station to report her dreams. Crystal left the police station and returned home. The dreams stopped, and Crystal was finally able to get a good night's sleep.
CHAPTER 3
MIGUEL DIAZ
Crystal told her boyfriend, Miguel Diaz, about the dreams that she had been having the past week. Then she told him about her meeting with a police detective in Goliad. He hugged her and told her that he believed her. Miguel and Crystal had only been dating for about three months. Miguel told Crystal that he had recently moved to Goliad from San Antonio about a year ago. She thought he was a handsome, nice and very thoughtful man. She had met him at a large party she attended one night with two of her girlfriends. They hit it off immediately, and they had been together ever since.
CHAPTER 4
THE SAN ANTONIO RIVER
About a week later, two young men were fishing
