    How do I know that God is speaking? How can I be sure that it is God speaking and not my thoughts? How can I get the clarity and direction I need from God?
    There is something that happens to your spirit when you know that you know that you have heard from God. It galvanizes you to take action, to walk on water with Him (Matthew 14:22-33), to leap over walls and to capture cities for His sake. Yet a significant number of us don’t live in this reality for the simple reason that we are not sure that God speaks to us. We know He speaks to pastors and ministers of the gospel but we are not sure that He can or will speak to us ‘ordinary’ members of the body of Christ. In addition, if indeed He does speak to us, how can we be sure that it is God that is speaking and not our imagination, or the devil? How can we clearly HEAR and KNOW that God is speaking?

    This book seeks to provide a practical and encouraging guide to hearing from God, iit seeks to point you in the right direction- towards The Father.
    It is my desire that as you read these chapters and ponder on the action points that follow; you will find that a deeper relationship with God opens up to you. I pray that you will have the patience and diligence to sit with God; the openness of heart to hear from Him and the courage to trust and obey His every word.

    Dr. Esther Longe is an experienced Marketing Strategist and the Founder of God in Real Life Outreach. She obtained her Bachelors degree in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos. She has two Masters degrees; a Masters in Marketing from the University of Glamorgan (Now University of South Wales) and a Masters in Research from the University of Bath. She has also obtained a PhD in Marketing from the University of Bath, UK. God In Real Life Outreach was formed in October 2014 inspired by a need to provide a safe place for Christian women to share, learn and grow together in God. It has since evolved and has four expressions- God in Real Life (GIRL) Talk, The Alternative Business School, The GO Institute and Broken. The reach has also expanded beyond providing a safe space for women to providing a safe space for all to grow, develop intimacy with the Father and be all that they have been purposed to be. In 2017, Esther answered the Call of God to pursue full time ministry and devote her life and talents to furthering the Kingdom of God. She is happily married with a beautiful baby girl.
