      Summary of Bobby Kennedy is the reason I became interested in civil rights. I first paid attention to politics when I took notice of him when I was probably thirteen, the school year before both he and King were assassinated. There is no one, until Barack Obama, I admired more. This book, and the one written by Larry Tye a couple of years ago were different but really good. Chris Matthews has an unapologetic love for Bobby Kennedy--though I think he sees him pretty clearly. I feel that way as well. It is worth reading and owning.

      This is a very readable biography that Chris Matthews has put together on Robert Kennedy. Even if you've read previous bios of RFK this is one that would be a worthy addition to your library.

      It's a must read for anyone who was even modestly politically inclined during this period and would love to know the inside story.

      The book is both informative and enjoyable to read, a good mix of politics and personal dynamics. Recommended to lovers of politics and the Kennedy's.
