Too much work with others to find my why. The summary is fine and helped me conclude the full book is not what I'm looking for. I think the concept of WHY is great, but here getting to the WHY is too much work for a single person and a company. Should be the person in charge's why, not to ask everyone in the company and on and on with exercises, tasks.

The book does point on a matter, that all of the companies face at a certain stage. No matter whether it is a successful company or not. He has mainly taken Wal-Mart and Apple companies as an example. This will help the readers who are stuck with the question 'why' and who are trying to build up a long lasting (Forever lasting) business.

I find this to be something in between a self help book and a great brand strategy guide. I would recommend the book to any business owner looking to get ahead of an ever changing business environment.

This book is a massive essay of a 20 minute TED talk. The core concept is how big companies are able to define "WHY" they are big in what they do or make.

Pros: Super easy to read and it is chapter by chapter ... (i think). Very clear and very nice. Formatting could be done better but kudos already!

Cons: The free bonus link inside isn't working (however, that's a bonus, so i'll still give it a 5 stars it deserve)

I've read and studied a lot of material over the last 2 years looking for answers to my life and business. What I didn't realize, is that I was looking for this book. While no book stands alone, this book puts the big picture together for me. Without a why I can find myself drifting from one opportunity to the next, with nothing more than fleeting excitement for a new idea. This book has inspired many thoughts as I read it, but it has helped me to truly put into perspective the age-old advice to follow your passion. It's not enough to follow your passion, you got to know why you're passionate for it. I highly recommend this book to anyone struggling to figure out what they want to do when they grow up. I'm off to read his follow-up book, Find Your Why.
