Living well is a daily exercise that very often depends on your ability and personal attitude to face life with the right energy and vitality. A positive attitude and a healthy and balanced lifestyle not only contribute to increase the quality of our days greatly, but it also helps us to feel good and calm with ourselves.
The tips and tricks for a long and satisfying life are few, essential and simple. Good weather and a slow pace of life are perfect for building a tailor-made
life that, with a little free time and the desire to take better care of yourself, will result in healthy and beneficial habits to be healthy, happy. Because, basically, it's not about transforming your existence drastically, but recovering those little popular tips and making them yours. What better than the good weather to draw a new path with the enthusiasm and optimism that the sun's rays bring to the most backward? Let's start with a vademecum of 10 ways to live better.
1. Laugh more
Laughter is contagious, and good humor has beneficial effects not only for us but also for those around us.
A good laugh is excellent for health and prolongs life, because it improves the immune system, decreases the pressure and bad cholesterol, increasing the good by activating the production of endorphins and reducing stress hormones.
Unfortunately, laughter is not something present in everyone, but it often improves as a result of often practicing the so-called laughing fit,
which is excellent for keeping diabetes under control.
2. Sleep well
Sleep and rest are essential. The ideal would be to be able to rest for 6 to 8 hours per night, thus guaranteeing a natural extension of the course of life.
The research carried out in recent years, in this regard, shows that sleep helps strengthen the immune system and resting well is as important as eating in a balanced way and exercising regularly.
3. Use natural remedies
Overwhelmed by the frenzy of everyday life, it is important to create a personal time space devoted to us. Do you have a quarter of an hour? Close the bathroom door and make an anti-stress mask by rinsing carefully and drying with a soft cloth towel, cleaning well with natural products or extra virgin olive oil.
4. Get regular medical checkups
Each year it is a good idea to request the relevant medical exams, from blood tests to Pap tests, from a dental checkup to a gynecological exam. Take advantage also of the visits and specific months of prevention to make precise controls and keep up to date on your state of health.
5. Get back to order
"Space Clearing" is a discipline inspired by Feng Shui that aims to eliminate the superfluous of life itself (and, therefore, the environment) to recover the essentiality and centrality of the really important things. The disorder, according to this philosophy, is nothing more than an emotional burden,
ballast that does not allow us to live better. Compiling a list, filing old documents, planning the day, proves useful for recovering lost energy!
6. Look at everything with the eyes of a child!
Discover the world and everyday life with different eyes: with the perspective of a child, you can get excited about the simplest things, which sometimes are the most wonderful!
If you have children, you should observe them and learn from their naturalness and spontaneity.
7. Make love
Intimacy with your partner is a beneficial activity for the whole body that positively affects blood pressure and the immune system. Also, sexual activity in women stimulates the release of estrogens that have a beneficial and immediate effect on the skin and hair, not to mention its analgesic effect, which is also responsible for the reduction of headaches.
8. Watch the weight
It is not just an aesthetic issue, because weight gain causes serious physical problems: from the joints to the bones. Weigh yourself from time to time and control the waist: only in this way you will be able, without great effort, to live well and for longer.
9. Dedicate yourself to others
Charitable and social activities are the perfect way to spend your free time, helping others and giving example to the neighbor. Not only is it a moral
obligation, but also a method to feel useful and, consequently, increase our self-esteem by controlling bad mood and keeping depression at bay.
10. Eat with color
Nutrition is essential and the colors that we eat daily are important. Orange pumpkin and carrot, violet cranberry, red tomato and green pepper are essential ingredients to restore good mood and ensure a good dose of antioxidants daily.
These have been the first ten small tips to get you started in the art of living well. It begins to deepen; there are still many secrets.
The importance of living slowly
Deceleration is the only solution to the evil of our generation; which is speed. We are always running away, and we do not even have time to eat a dish cooked by us. Here are some notes and some ideas on how to recover the correct cruising speed.
Slow down. To read this book, you need time. One of the things you do not have, right? The fact is that you are always running
