Millions of years ago, mighty reptiles known as dinosaurs ruled the earth. Though they died out long ago, students still enjoy learning about their modern-day reptile relatives, from common snakes and turtles to the more bizarre worm lizards and tuataras.

Peter Murray
Peter Murray is a British-born author living with his wife and daughter in Greater Manchester, England. After graduating from university, he started work as an engineer and began writing short stories in the evening for his daughter to read. This progressed into the completion of his first children’s book, Eggsville. He aims to provide children with fun and fantastical stories that help them question and discover the world they are living in today. Peter continues to write stories and hopes to make the jump from part-time storyteller, to full-time author very soon.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This book discusses all types of reptiles. Each page is a separate type of reptile with various facts about the different ones. The pictures are representative of the concepts being discussed and are very detailed. Although I would not use this as a field guide, it does introduce students to the different types of reptiles and what differentiates them.
