Reviews for Summary of The End of Alzheimer's
8 ratings5 reviews
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book brings together the Paleo/Ketosis model and Dr. Gundry's diet with the latest cutting edge science on Alzheimer's and brain health. Everyone over 40 should read this book regardless as to whether you have concerns about Alzheimer's since this book is really about optimum brain health. If only we could get HMOs to approve the type of testing this book recommends.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Dr. Bredesen has written the first comprehensive guide to preventing, halting, and reversing Alzheimer's Disease. It is a must read as it provides you with the tools necessary to understand what Alzheimer's disease is, how to prevent it, and how to treat it.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Good ideas about how to prevent Alzheimer’s. Will incorporate those that I need.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book has made me conscious of what I was doing with my life that would eventually affect my health as I get older. As I was reading this, it also reminded of my mother and loved ones whom I want to share this with. We all know what Alzheimer's could do to our lives and this book can help us reverse and prevent such condition. The process of doing it also has other positive effects to our health and body which will keep us youthful and alert as we age. I'll definitely read the original book!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The book does give some guidelines for supplements that might be helpful, but you need to know what deficiencies you are dealing with, and this gets back to blood work that your doctor will do. If you don't know about deficiencies, using supplements is guesswork and can do more harm than good. The book does supply some good ground work for someone that hasn't had time to do the research, but it definitely does no supply an end-all cure for Alzheimer's.
