What Ever My Lot

About this ebook
We humans don’t easily embrace having our horizons stretched beyond their well rehearsed comfort zones. While Jesus offers us a banquet of His daily reality to ingest, we will knowingly settle for the crumbs of religiosity to maintain "comforts" ultra limiting presence in our lives. Then along comes a "fanatical radical" named Paul who enlightens us to what “all in faith" looks, and sounds like.

I believe when it comes to the topic of "faith" it's important to know the heart of the writer you are reading. Hence, a little insight. If you've perused my writings I trust you have noticed that I'm an unapologetic non-conformist thus not religious per say. In fact, my greatest concern in life is to be summarily dismissed as a "religious person". My preference? A "real person" serving "a real God" who "really loves" THE WORLD. From day one of my sojourn with God it's always been a "real or nothing" mindset. I couldn't imagine any other way to approach the journey. Admittedly, never perfect and often awkward, but that has been and continues to be the narrow road I travel. At 27 years of age Jesus literally stole my heart. I did not join a "Club". I fell in love and entered the "Kingdom" of my Lover. To me, that was as glorious and serious as it gets! While my writings may not adhere to the status quo at times, I do hope at the very least they provide stimulation for serious contemplation. Blessings to all. Bill Taylor

I Still Remember Margaret Green
I was just a mere fourteen years of age at the time. Love, even if it’s the puppy love
genera of the emotion, will make a young man do some pretty crazy things. I, being born and raised in the Great White North
, winter temperatures of minus thirty or colder with the wind chill factored in, were quite common throughout my early years. Global warming has somewhat rectified that as one’s everyday frosty Toronto reality in February, but back in the day it was to be taken very seriously.
In the 60
s, we’d often experience evening
blizzards". Just their remembrance sends chills to my core! Burrrrrr! To be exposed for any length of time would likely
