- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is a biography of an truly inspirational person. Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a German Lutheran minister in the first half of the 20th Century during the rise of Hitler and the Nazi's. Bonhoeffer exhibited great courage and integrity during extremely difficult times. He fought to maintain the independence of the German Lutheran Church that was subsumed by the Nazi regime. He remained faithful to the Bible when the Nazi's revised the Bible to support their policies.
