Irrespective of the field of application technology acts in the best interest of mankind enabling humans to perform tasks with optimal efficiency, precision, and performance. This report shall discuss and analyze the inevitable impacts of technology on our society from the perspectives of 4 levels of thinking.

The phenomenon that comprises of collection of skills, techniques, methods, and processes employed for achieving specific objectives can be termed as technology. Technology is mainly employed for efficient and precise execution of activities within industrial or professional setups. In simple terms technology can be described as a systematic process of executing complex and varied functions with the help of tools, methods, and technologies.

    Social Impacts of Technology

Technology can generate significant impacts on the society in various ways. For instance, information technology is deemed to have revolutionized the world by facilitating faster and efficient modes of communication among users regardless of geographic boundaries, time, and other conventional barriers. Internet of things has shrunk our world into global village enabling people to communicate, share, exchange, and transfer information in the form of files, videos, audio, and images across any user/place over the virtual platform within no time. Innovative electronic devices such as smart phones, tablets, laptops, and smart watches are capable of doing more than mere communication (Ramey, 2012). A simple smart phone can allow users to book a flight reservation, order food, and make a purchase, conduct video conferencing using advanced applications such as Skype, hangouts, etc., send or receive important official files, and do much more. The adoption of smart devices backed by the power of internet has empowered mankind tremendously enabling them to perform any critical activity from their own and convenience place using their smart gadgets. Technology has varied applications across industries and it its rightful use and advantages to a significant degree lie in the intentions and capabilities of humans. Technological impacts on the society can be discussed from the perspectives of 4 levels of thinking as following-

    1)  Events- the impact, significance, and effects of technology can be felt throughout the world regardless of nature of activity or business. Modern offices, businesses, industries, hotels, restaurants, public places are all hub of technological resources. Every piece of gadget that we use in our day to day life is equipped with technology whether it is an electric shaver or a smart phone or a grinder. Today, technology is extensively employed in every field of activity to enhance the performance, efficiency, and user convenience that makes our lives comfortable as never before. Manufacturing, construction engineering, information technology, software engineering, medicine, or aviation, every human field of activity is heavily influenced by state of the art technologies that have significantly transformed our lives enabling us to execute highly complex and critical tasks efficiently that was considered impossible conventionally. Modern airplanes travel much faster than conventional places, computers  are equipped with heavy duty processors that can perform highly complex and difficult calculations and data processing efficiently, a smart phone is equipped with multitasking capabilities allowing users to swiftly perform multiple operations using single device, bullet trains travel faster than speed of sound and many other examples to prove that out existence  to a significant degree is dependent on technological applications thus making technology an inevitable need of our civilization.

    2)  Patterns- it may refer to the technological effects on the psychological, behavioral, and mental planes of humans. With increasing scope and necessity of technology in every sphere of human activity, people are more and more inclined to employ technology in every task critical for their lives. Today, technology is extensively used for communication, information interchange, data sharing, knowledge acquisition, perform shopping activities, transfer funds, build physique, perform surgery, lift extreme weights, acquire information about remote events and incidents, commutation using personal modes of conveyance such as bikes or cars or public modes of conveyance such as trams, or buses or trains (Andrew, 2014). Regular use of technologies makes human more and more dependent on these resources eventually affecting their behavioral, mental, and psychological health. For instance, time shortage and need for quick accessibility compels people to opt for personal modes of transport, employ mobiles for uninterrupted distant conversations, use laptops for performing pending official works at home, habitual to internet browsing for acquiring new information relevant to personal or professional field of activity, and so on and so forth. Thus, it can be observed that regular use of technology has made it an inevitable tool for our survival.

    3)  Systemic Structures- it refers to the interconnections among the process variables that act as complimentary to one
