    Her Mother Helen was different – petite and slender – freckles
    and a wide smile – the cute girl at school type. She was the
    great listener and the wise one. Great at volleyball at school
    and beyond – still very athletic. Trained the local police
    and legal people in something international – she was never
    quite sure what. She travelled overseas frequently and when
    she was home she would cook up the best scones (the only
    thing she could cook/ bake really) and dish them up hot with
    cream and raspberry jam – just the best! Welcome to the
    Penfield household.

    The Author is happily married with two sons and a large cat. John Alexander Rawson has twenty-five years’ experience in various roles in New Zealand Social Services and aligned industries. He has an Honours Degree in Psychology and Education. He ran his own counselling practice for four years and currently works with youth, some children, and adults. He loves thinking about thinking. Current research and worldwide trends are consistent with John's thinking that God is now not only proved by faith, but also by science. Consciousness and creativity are all consistent with these theses. This book touches on these important themes of God, consciousness, and science, using dollops of imagination and generous spoonfuls of fun.

      Introduction

      When she woke up that morning Kirsty had a niggling feeling

      that something fabulous was going to happen.

      Her room still looked the same – crumpled sheets, worn pink

      paint, and messy jottings and notes haphazardly strewn around

      her bedroom.

      She wandered down the stairs and said good morning to her

      parents – her balding Dad Bill with that annoying clump of

      hairs growing rakishly from the middle of his head and

      traversing comically towards the right hand back of his skull.

      Bill had glasses and beetroot English complexion, rotund and

      cherry. A talented gardener and cook. Always positive but not

      always making the most sense. He got a bit scrambled in his

      thinking sometime. She loved him anyway. Kirsty’s friends

      called her Dad Santa – but not to his face. She was staunchly
