About this ebook
Just because some things can go unsaid,
doesnt mean you have to leave them all in your head.
Who said being emotional is wrong?
Its only wrong when you express the wrong emotion too strong.
Did you know you dont have to hide your joy or tears?
You can write down your happiness, satisfaction, confusion and fears.
You can share them with many or keep them to yourself.
Anything is better than being bottled up, thats bad for your health.
I hope to inspire you through word or expression, whichever is best.
Do them both and dont forget to take time to rest.
Rest your mind from all the days stress and commotion.
Believe me when I say, you too could be enjoying your emotions.

DEDICATION
I thank God for the gift of poetry and I dedicate this book to my husband, Shawn, son, Justice, and daughter, Aiyana, all whom I live every day for today and always.
PURPOSE
I lay here faced with over 100+ resumes sent out to various employers over a six month period of time and only two very promising positions presenting themselves. One fell through and the other….still waiting
. I have been consistently growing in the field of Human Resources when I prayed for the position of God’s will. I can say, this must be God’s will. Writing this excerpt came so natural. Writing and selecting which poems to include was a breeze. The scripture selection only made sense and the quotes chosen are true to my soul. Still the questions remains, why did I write this book? I started writing this book the morning after laying in bed, watching television and feeling rejected after getting the news that another hope of mine had been delayed. I paused the television, looked at my husband and said, Babe, what’s my mojo?
After some clarification he stated, you are a great leader, a wonderful speaker (as he added the caveat, it had to be something I love, know about or had a passion for), you are very motivating, a great poet, you have good input, you are a good writer, I could see you writing cards or poetry to share with others.
So, with that being said, I didn’t respond, I simply un-paused the television and carried on with the evening until the next morning. I awakened to a hug from my son, a great full body hug that only he can give. A hug that says, EVERYTHING will be ok, while his little body smothers you with love. Shortly after my son left the room my sweetheart of a daughter blessed me with her morning sunshine. A smile so perfect you thank the Lord for another day to see it. She then crawled in the bed and while she generally has a lot, no I mean A LOT to say, she got in bed and said nothing while laying there wide awake as if to say, you are not alone. We then continued the morning watching television when an
