Does God engage you throughout the day? At times, do you clearly sense His Spirit prompting you to take a particular action or respond to a specific situation, and yet you find yourself indifferent to Him?
Each time we turn our ear and our heart away from God’s utterances and promptings, we render ourselves increasingly insulated from the Him. Before long, we are so immune that we can’t relate to those who are open to the leading of the Lord. However, once you open yourself to God’s presence, you will undoubtedly want more. And you can have more; just open yourself to Him.
As a believer in the Lord for more than thirty years, I’ve had the privilege and honor to experience many manifestations of God’s glorious power and presence. Some of these experiences were nothing short of miraculous. With the utmost humility, I feel God encounters me not because I’m special, but because of His sovereignty and my openness to His utterances. The collection of super natural experiences and stories in this book represent a literal whole other world
of events or occurrences.
This book recounts many personal experiences that occurred as a result of God’s encounters with me. My hope is that anyone reading this book can look at my experiences and be inspired to seek a closer relationship with the Lord. It is my firm belief that these experiences will encourage you to remain receptive to the Lord’s leading in your life. Through examples from my own life, you will go forward and find out His answers for your life’s challenges. Prepare yourself to receive the blessings that will ensue from following God’s Word and His leadings in your life. Together you have solutions to all of life’s challenges. You will be able to walk in God’s power through the fear.

Prologue
During the early 1970s I was best known as an instigator and activist on the University of Akron campus. Back then, descriptors like gambler, early stage alcoholic and hater of white folks were aptly deserved. Then almost overnight, I was transformed by God into a dedicated Bible-thumping Christian.
I was honorably discharged from the Army in July 1971. Shortly after that, I enrolled at the University of Akron. I was shocked to learn that the Black Studies program was non-accredited. Furthermore, the Black Cultural Center was a joke. It offered little in the way of cultural or academic help for students. To make matters worse, the man in charge of the program was completely incompetent.
Because I’m a person who is always looking for a cause, I attempted to address the problem. I ran for and was elected chairman of Black United Students’ Community Affairs Program. I was serious about my job.
I immediately took on the school administration. I led protests. I disrupted stuff. I led student protest marches from the dean’s office all the way to the president’s office. On one occasion during a protest in front of the Dean’s office, the police came and everyone ran except two white girls and myself. How ironic, since I was trying very hard to hate white people. One day I’d love to know the identiy of those girls.
What did I want? I wanted an accredited black studies program and I wanted a black cultural center with teeth.
Eventually I won, but at a terrible price. A university instructor warned, Dan I applaud your actions, but I need to tell you something. You will never graduate from this university.
I laughed. I had less than twenty hours to graduate. How could they stop me?
Here’s how.
Two of my professors gave me a grade of F on my final exam. When I confronted them about it they claimed
