A Fountain Overflows - Betty Laughlin Wood

    Comfort The Child

Dear Lord, take the inner child’s hand,

Climb the stairway of life with him.

    Erase each fear and sorrow,

Each hurt, and scar of time,

Fill him with guidance toward his mission,

    And enough Love to understand

    The Martyr

    Like a duck sheds water,

And pretend they’re not meant for you,

    Divine Inflow

    A Mystical fog from Heaven,

Like a house that is built on sand.

    Build a strong foundation,

Secure it in Love and Truth.

For Life is the stairway to Heaven,

The Lord’s Mercy is given in youth.

    Seek the Truth of Being,

    Long to know and understand,

From the inner comes the outer,

    In the silence God seeks
