Her poems have been published in several journals and anthologies, and she has received numerous poetry awards. Her first book of poetry, Journeys (Rutledge 2002), has been described as “a book to treasure”. Ms. Johnson’s goal in writing focuses on uplifting, nourishing and comforting the human spirit.
