    Bishop Gale LeGrand Williams, a writer, and teacher of the word of God, attended Delaware State College, majored in business administration, and later received a master’s certificate in government contracting from George Washington University. She received the Princeton Theological Seminary’s certificate in theology and ministry in January 2014. Bishop Williams established Entrusted Connections Ministry Inc., a Virginia-based nonprofit Christian community outreach organization, in 2007. She and her husband, Esquire Ronald E. Williams Sr., have one daughter, two sons, and nine grandchildren. She is also the President and CEO of Entrusted Strategic Management Solutions, Inc., in Woodbridge, VA.

      For a whole year, as I awakened every morning, God met me while I prayed and studied His Word. Then as I sought His face, He provided His guidance for each day. I’ve never experienced His presence and grace in my life as pervasively as I did for those 366 days.

      You will find words, phrases, and themes repeated throughout this collection of devotions. I believe God designed these repeated elements to keep His Word and will ever before us. As we go through life, we repeat negative actions and behaviors which God never created us to do, so please allow these repetitions to encourage, strengthen, and keep you on God’s chosen path and perfect will for your life.

      Scriptural phrases are woven throughout the devotions and are not always direct quotes from the Bible. While the phrases may not be direct quotes they are inspired by the King James Version of the Bible.

      January 1

      Today is a day of new beginnings for you. This is My year of superabundant blessings in your life: physical, spiritual, financial, emotional, and mental blessings. Your walk with Me will be unlike any other you have ever known. I am doing a new thing in your life and it will spring forth beginning today. Walk with Me daily, in the heat of the day and in the cool of the night. Doors will open that you never expected. Obedience, your obedience to Me, is all that I ask of you. Give, love, and serve—this is what I expect you to do. Do not worry about your weaknesses as you do My will; I will take care of your frailties. Welcome to this year, the year of superabundant blessings for you and your family.

      January 2

      Be very careful of what you allow to penetrate your spirit man this year. There are many things that are being created by Satan to entice the senses and give a false sense of success. It is not of Me and if you spend time participating in these activities, they will draw you away from where I want you to be. They are designed to deceive the very elect. Allow Me to create and maintain your thoughts. I will protect what I have created in you. Promotion comes from Me. I have prepared prosperity and every blessing for you. Never allow the excitement and urgings of others to override what I have placed in you as good and perfect. Never fear what others can do to you. I am with you, every step of your walk with me!

      January 3

      Increase!

      You have given into My Kingdom and you have sown seeds of faith. You have given your tithes; you have brought them into My storehouses and brought increase for the uplifting of My Kingdom. Now is your time for increase, increase in your life, in every area of your life. Keep your faith in Me and keep on the path that I have chosen for you. Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man all that I have in store for you.

      January 4

      Be diligent in your service and worship. You are hearing a consistent message from Me. It is a matter of My timing. This is your time to come forth. Preparation has been complete; your time of waiting has ended. I have called you by your name and I have removed the obstacles that have delayed your arrival. You may think they are still there because you still see the people who have delayed you. But once again My timing will show you that they have been removed. You shall see My manifestation of it. Wait on Me, but do not stop moving forward.

      January 5

      Increase your participation in the Kingdom, doing the work of a servant and minister. Reach out to people in need and comfort those who are distraught. Remember that I will give you what you need for every situation that you encounter. My good and perfect gifts I will give to you freely, because with Me there is no variation or shadow of turning. Remain true to your call.

      Too much conversation with others can decrease your ability to hear from Me. It is okay to spend time doing those things that you enjoy, but be careful of the over use of your words. After much conversation the words can turn from uplifting to upheaval.

      January 6

      Unity is a necessity in the Body of Christ. Discord and dissension tear down; and is such a bad reflection of who I am and what I have called the Body to do. Do all within your power in your environment to keep unity among My people. Do not be afraid to stand for righteousness and to decline to become a part of discord. Stand firm in the faith and when you have done all you can to stand, continue to stand for Me.

      January 7

      Stand still until My will for you is clear in every area of your life. Opportunities will always avail themselves to you. Every open door is not from Me; and you must stay close to Me in order to discern where I want you to go and what I want you to do. Today I will bring you into a place where you must clearly discern My will. Block out the many voices and come to Me before you make any decisions based on the opportunities that present themselves.

      January 8

      I will lead you with My eye. I will guide you and protect you. I will speak to you to give you direction. I will do this for you in many ways: through scripture, through songs, through prophecy, and through My messengers. Sometimes I will speak in simple conversations and sometimes in a still small voice speaking to your heart, which is your conscience. Stay encouraged and know that I am with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you. I will be with you always. Continue in My love.

      January 9

      Faith in Me shall carry you and sustain you as you walk with Me. There will be many things that I will require of you; and there will be times when you will not see or understand how things will work out. That is when your faith in Me will be essential. Believing what I have asked you is what I desire, because I am orchestrating My plan through you. Having faith in Me means believing what you cannot see. Know My Word is true. Without faith it is impossible to please Me. Faith is what you believe and hope for, because there is no evidence that it will come to pass other than by your full confidence in Me and My ability to bring forth what I have created and designed in your life. I say to you, Have faith!

      January 10

      Be encouraged. I have come that you might have life and that more abundantly. I know the plans that I have for you to prosper and to give you a hope and a future. I will never leave you nor forsake you. I will bless you when you go out and when you come in. I will make you the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath. Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man the things that I have in store for you. No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue that rises against you shall be condemned. Give and it shall be given to you, good measure, pressed down and shaken together. It shall be given to you and your life shall overflow with abundance. Bring your tithes into the storehouse so that there will be meat in My house; try Me in this and see that I will open the windows of heaven and pour out such blessings that you will not have enough room to receive them. I desire that you will prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers. I will give My angels charge over you to keep you in all of your ways, even if you dash your foot against a stone. My peace I give to you. I was wounded for your transgressions and bruised for your iniquities; the chastisement for your peace was upon Me, and by My stripes you are healed. I am your shepherd; you shall not want. I make you to lie down in green pastures, I lead you beside the quiet waters, and I restore your soul. I lead you in the paths of righteousness for My name’s sake. Even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you will fear no evil, because I will be with you. My rod and My staff shall comfort you. I prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies. I anoint your head with oil and your cup runs over. Surely My goodness and My mercy will follow you all the days of your life and you will dwell in My house forever. You have uncommon favor!

      January 11

      Faith—Without faith it is impossible to please Me. The just shall live by faith.

      Grace—My grace is sufficient for you.

      Mercy—Surely My goodness and My mercy shall follow you all the days of your life.

      Forgiveness—I have blotted out like a thick cloud your transgressions and your sins like a cloud.

      Peace—My peace I give to you, not as the world gives do I
