    Michelle Isom is currently teaching 1st grade in Basin City, Washington.  Mrs. Isom taught kindergarten at Basin City Elementary School in Washingotn state for ten years.  She has also taught students in Texas, California, and Wisconsin.  Mrs. Isom has a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's degree in Early Childhood Education.  She is also a 2011 graduate of the Institute of Children's Literature.  During her free time, Michelle loves to walk her dogs, travel, camp, collect rocks and shells, paint, write, draw, hike, shop, and visit friends and family.  She grew up in Tri-cities, Washington and is currently living in Pasco, Washington with her husband and two dogs.  This will be Michelle Isom's first published book!
