Aria’s Foreword
Dreams have long been an integral part of mankind’s existence since the beginning of time. Wars, disasters and proclamations, magnanimous and minuscule, have often unfolded with much richness and detail through the dream space
of mortals. Cultures, teachings and mindful insights have evolved through the ages with man’s quest to understand his dreams.
Many acknowledge the presence of a Higher Being
, the one they refer to as GOD
, The Universe
, Buddha
, or perhaps The Holy Spirit
accrediting ALL that we SEE and FEEL. As we enter the twenty-first century it is known that the Earth’s vibration is ever increasing. An enhanced Spiritual Awarenessis awakening the heart of many walking the globe previously unfeeling
or unseeing
. Angelic Messengers and Earth
Angels, ever vigilant Hand Maidens
of The Oneness
, step gently and lovingly into the path of those in great need and those racing frantically about trying to find the secret
of happiness.
It is from this Angelic Realm that I, ARIA
, come to you, gifted this lifetime with Angel Wings and Faerae Wings, one who strives always to radiate the purest of God’s Light and Love. It is with much pleasure that I introduce you to a much be-jeweled
soul and author, so multi-faceted and richly woven like an intricate medieval hanging, this one goes by the name of.
Harold Aage Skaarup(Hal)
Many people go through their lifetime standing in the shadows and on the sidelines hoping no one will notice. Hal dares to GRAB the world by the tail
and say YES-S-SHL..I’M OFF!!!
. There is SO MUCH to SEE, MARVEL at and ENJOY and I have ONLY 575 lifetimes to do it!!!
…
He invites you to FLY, do CART WHEEL SLIVE, LAUGH, LOVE and STRIDE beside him as he sojourns through this life through all the wonderful adventures he draws to himself, wanting to live EVERY moment to the fullest! Through his exciting career in the Canadian Armed Forces he has done much and in many places, having the opportunity to touch many lives, both at home and abroad. Including his military career, he is also a Fine Arts graduate and painter, world-traveler photographer, avid journaler, collector, impassioned sky diver and instructor, a keen observer of the world at large, a „Peace Keeper in every sense of the word, incredibly inquisitive and curious about EVERYTHING, loving, kind, courageous, a wonderful son, fiercely protective father and partner. Quite a „bundle
wrapped up in one man.
Woven throughout and between the stories like a spider‘s web, Hal speaks of „Old Wisdoms gifted to him from „the before
and „after times as spoken by „Seers
and „Angel Guides" often offering insights into the unfolding of his dreams. And so it is that I leave you with this intriguing, delightful collection for you to savour, ponder and enjoy and with this parting thought—
If one advances confidently In the direction of his dreams, And endeavors to live
The life which he has imagined, He will meet with success unexpected in common hours…
The World is a great mirror, It reflects back to you what you are. If you are loving, if you are friendly, if you are helpful, the World will prove loving, friendly and helpful to you. The World IS what YOU are.
MAY GOD’S HEALING, LOVING ENERGY FLOW THROUGH YOU, SHINE UPON YOU AND BE EVER PRESENT IN YOU…
HEAD TO HEAD
HAND TO HAND
HEART TO HEART.

I am grateful. There are so many that I would like to thank, that there can be no list long enough to cover the meetings and sharings I have been privileged to have had with virtually every person I have ever met. Your names and faces are beyond counting, and if the number of past lives is as large as each of us seems to have, we have met each other many times before, in as many places as there are faces. I thank all of you, including you the reader, for if we have not yet met, by the time you have finished this book, I am sure you will know me at least half as well as I would like to know you. I have read that the most important thing in life is to pick your parents carefully. As you will discern from these gleanings, it appears that I did. It appears that we have each had the same choices to make in that regard. For you and for me, I am also grateful for those choices. Whatever you may decide on the conclusion of your take on these stories, I hope, through reading them, that you will gain some new insight into other possible ways of looking at how things are. Walk in the light, and remember that no matter where you may be, God keeps his hand on you and I at all times. Cheers, Acorn sends. ¹ Harold A. Skaarup, 29 February 2000
Introduction
Should you be looking for a short work of inspiration I would highly recommend this one. I have carried Psalm 121 with me on the back of a field message pad and had it with me in places where I felt it might come in handy. It was one of my mother’s favorite pieces, and I hope it becomes one of yours.
Psalm 121 (A Song of degrees)
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth and even for evermore.
A more recent find is this wonderful gift:
Prayer from the Dalai Lama
May I become at all times, both now and forever
A protector for those without protection A guide for those who have lost their way A ship for those with oceans to cross A bridge for those with rivers to cross A sanctuary for those in danger A lamp for those without light A place of refuge for those who lack shelter And a servant to all in need. His Holiness the Dalai Lama
Deeper Meanings From Another Point of View
The first time that I heard the voices that came through my friend in channel, they had the following information for me:
Greetings to you one light. It is our pleasure to share with you, this day, the deeper meanings of the whole self. So that you might have truer understanding of your beingness in this state. In this world. And with this set we do begin by speaking to you from higher self. Child light, we are assuming this moment in time, the identity of Old Woman. One of your guide counsels we would say. Father, son, child. We serve you in many capacities, and represent to you the wisdom of ages. You have had many lifetimes in female body. You have chosen in this lifetime to be male. A different choice. Do not take our numbers literally, but we would say to you, that you have had of your 570 lives on your earth planet, 370 of them have been female. The remaining in male gender. Again our numbers are not accurate but to portray to you the choices you have made previously. Do you understand our words?
I answered the voice with a firm yes
while examining my friend’s face intently.
"We continue. Child light, in this lifetime we are with you whole lifetime. We were present at your birthing, and will be with you till your passing. We represent the female wisdom’s you have gained and worked hard to achieve over many lifetimes. We embody them so to speak for your access and for your use, in this lifetime. We are called Old Woman. We have (no other name) other than that, and we do use that characteristic in deliberateness, for it is with the age-old woman that the strongest wisdoms lie. You have old wisdoms childlight. Do not forget them. Allow them to be remembered, re-learned, so that you might have them present with you. You will call to yourself often in this lifetime many
new and extraordinary, ‘extra ordinary’ experiences, and in those moments will have use of old wisdoms. Things you will know without knowing how you know them or where you learned them. Remember this. When you find yourself moving into a situation, whether it is a new one or one you have been in before, call upon the old woman. Ask us to be your shadow. Invite us to work with you interactively, and we will make the instincts more than just instincts. We will give you (a feeling in your) body to (recognize) the instinct that is the wisdom (you seek). (It will help you to understand) how (and) why the instinct was born, and in your dream state you will find the details will be filled in. By example, you (may) call us to you in a situation that is extraordinary to you, and you (will) react (in) certain ways. Without thinking, you (will) know (what it is that you must do). Then later, in a time of quietness, you wonder how you knew. Be aware (of) that (in your) evening sleep space of your dreamstate, and the details will come to you. We will deliver them to you, so that you might have understanding of where the instinct was born, and how it has been kept alive, through the feeding of the wisdoms. Do you understand our words to you?"
Yes.
Blessings to you then. We of the Old Woman do serve you (your) whole lifetime and will change our duties, as you are in different situations. Specific to this the next nine to fifteen of your linear months, we will be (offering to you for your guidance the benefits) of the old wisdoms. It is a time your soul seeks to focus on the old wisdoms. The memories, the relearnings. Once they are more close to the surface, we will no longer be so interactive there, but will move on to a teaching of a different nature. Do you understand our words?
²
Well, up to that point, I would have to say that I did. However, it left me with a lot to think about, and as always in my case (perhaps also in accordance with the Myers-Briggs assessments of me) with a rapidly increasing volume of questions. I had brought along a prepared list of questions on subjects and topics that I am curious about or have an interest in. I had been prepared for the tone
of the interview, having been granted the privilege of listening to a similar interview given on tapes provided by a close friend. Regardless of what my original questions would have been, I decided to sweep them aside the moment she spoke. The voices and words that were coming through my friend in channel were far more interesting than I had imagined that they would be. The more we talked, the more interesting the session became. Some of the discussions that took place during these interviews are including in the following collection of essays and stories, and they are footnoted as to when and where. You must, however, remember that when you are reading the stories and reports, they are not all universally applicable to other individuals. Each of us has his or her guides, angels (or familiars
as my Great-Grandmother Catherine Peed would have called them). I am including some of my readings here, because they seem essential to understanding the possible origins of some of the stories that have come to me.
I was born in August (under the sign of Leo for the astrologers among you) in Woodstock, New Brunswick, not far from the Saint John River. For this reason, a friend has advised me that a good title for this book could have been From the Heart of a Lion.
I find it difficult to think of myself in those terms and what I originally planned to name the book was Angels, Past Lives and Stories to Ponder.
Not enough pizzazz
say some, and too bland
say others. I presently work on Cheyenne Mountain, a place that is said to be strong for its spirit energy. Perhaps this mountain
energy is contributing to my material. The truth of it is, though; that the energy transmitted in these stories comes from straight from my heart. I therefore thought of naming the book, Stories from the Heart and the Mountain.
This title does not convey the true essence of the book, so I
continued to think about it until Aria suggested the title of Dream Seer.
Since I have always sent correspondence marked by my military call sign Acorn,
I usually close with Acorn Sends,
hence another possible the title for this book. For now, however, I will leave it with my friend’s title, as she explained it in her words much better than I could. I hope that you enjoyed meeting her for Aria is a real and true angel (or Faerie Queen, I am truly never sure which) and I thank her deeply for graciously and generously consenting to write the foreword for this book.
From the Heart of a Lion
Aria also suggested the title for this introduction. This collection of personal stories and anecdotes is designed to perk you up, make you think, and perhaps entertain you a bit. Before you begin reading these stories however, you will need to bring with you a very open (and yes, of course, a very skeptical) mind. By way of introduction, my name is Hal. I also go by the name of Acorn, and sometimes I am called the Man-in-Green (because that is the colour of my Canadian Army field uniform).³
I believe that we are all guided and that God’s hand is upon us always no matter what the circumstances, or how far away he may sometimes seem. As I have been informed and advised, it would also appear that each of us is accompanied by a number of our very own personal
angels and guides. A few of mine have been identified, and perhaps I will share something about them with you on another occasion. There are times when an ordinary person like you or I will have the rare good fortune to be presented with a small window on the world these guides and angels inhabit. I have had the great good fortune to hear and read some interesting messages passed by individuals in channel.
These intriguing encounters have taken place with people I consider to be highly
intelligent, talented and indeed individuals gifted with the second sight.
They are also people whom I am privileged to have as friends. For example, a number of interesting bits of information were passed to me through a lady named Pamela Nadeau (from Fredericton), just prior to my assembling this collection of stories:
Angel Companions
We are your angels, your companions of Joy as you walk this earth space, and search ever and always for more joy, more fun, more intrigue, more to fascinate. Your spirit of adventure is legendary dear child, and it is a joy to behold. And yet, while life is an adventure, and your life should clearly be structured thus, there does come some responsibility with the adventuring spirit.
"You might find this fascinating to hear that he who walks the pathways of the Mother Gaia with the proverbial backpack upon the back, never a care in the world, only an unfettered life and heart set upon adventure, should have responsibility in such a circle of Freedom. And yet, dear child, responsibility there is.
For in other times and other places you have likewise been the gypsy, the vagabond, the intellectual adventurer. There is always much to discover, much to chew upon and enjoy its savour in any walk upon this earth, much to enjoy in any century, any millennium. And yet the ability to walk in a spirit of adventure is a privilege, for many wish for such an unfettered existence, or at least the occasional unfettered experience, yet are not granted its light in their lifetime. You have experienced in many times, and you have in many before-times come to understand the wisdom that it bestows upon you: from witnessing, experiencing and gathering together virtual scrapbooks and mental warehouses of information and data on the world around you, you have come to place things together, piece things together that belong
together, and in this random manner of creating your own work of art out of this jigsaw approach, you have been dumbstruck to see the wisdom of the ages peer out at you from your creation. And in certain of these times you have been able to impart your learning upon others. Through stories, through lectures and yes, at times through the written adventures. At some times you wrote, or communicated in an air of humility and wonder and this has served you the best. You have shone in your Own Light and you have served Humanity and the Oneness well. For in relating your adventures, and imparting
