On Top of Beacon Hill: Eastern Approach to Enlightenment, Western Recipe for Madness
()
About this ebook
On Top of Beacon Hill presents a homecoming of art and philosophy in verse. Powered in the tradition of existential thought, the phenomenological composition seeks to transport readers to the fertile and authentic realm of elemental being through a rare blend of Eastern, Western, and indigenous styles. Learn how to express your emotions fearlessly, and with excellent distinction. Make your spiritual ends meet, gloriously, inducing shamanic-trained impeccability from your actions, and appreciating, most intimately, the causal force of eternity, Nietzsches eternal recurrence. Packaged tightly with semantics, but never shackled by them, the poems explore some classic topical clashes within Eastern and Western thought. But in a word: a simple yet austere program to power, to cognitively fill out the authority of your sensory capacity, indeed, philosophically pioneering the mental charge of emotionsnot governing but engaging themlike hound dogs leading the hunt, as we sow raw and timeless seeds On Top of Beacon Hill.
Language is Contradiction
In time, language seeks negation dialectically, as the right leg seeks the left for movement. In the utilization to articulate ideas, contradictions become apparent, because correspondence is a stack of letters, cogently fashioned from wild thoughts for fermentation of domestication.
Language exists now, yet requires structural reflection and afterthought, both of which are peripheral thoughts in Platonic forms of thinking inside immediacy. And that which seems coupled from a distance (here vernacular forms with immediacy) defines via contradistinction. So, language is the nativity of dialectics, since it is acting definition, plus possession: clutching at building materials, some sentimental reflection of yesteryear, and the flux of the thoughts of the morrow

prelude
Why we are here is plain: because we desire cosmically and have wanted concretely to be. On how we were not and will not be is the great and glaring uncertainty of man, however, since orbiting this inquiry requires lurching into the madness of nonbeing, the creative realm beyond the reach of physical science and the canonic organization of things, beyond the reflections of sensation and even the commonsense of what naturally is, all the while sighting from an impartially inimitable and elevated course of deliberation. This is the pragmatic laceration between us and behaviorism and the post-nativity of a new science in beating time—this phase radically ineffable.
Seeing without the parameters of stale-mated academic pastime: without the stipulation of a rational justice designed for or the solicitation of an empirical nightmare in lieu of authenticity, and we make maximum philosophical ends meet once again. We thereby conceive our concentric and eccentric probing as a neuro-electric dash across ancient principles and contemporary notions found embedded amid dynamic necessities, codependent for functionality. Here, conceptions are packaged tightly with semantics and are prearranged in times immediately passing. But when neuroactivities are lifted through the energetic space of abysmal spheres with life’s fearless hands, fully intentional, we are sowing eternal seeds On Top of Beacon Hill.

For the Valor of Veracity
CHILDREN, STUDENTS, TEACHERS, PREACHERS
Children:
Take life slow enough
so to notice rainbow choices.
As You make actual marks deciding,
know that god trusts
naught but a wager for those static within doors—
even outside within starless walls.
For if You ever pledge,
pledge yourself in whole,
in nude heart and existential anchor.
And thus will You mean all to and of the world.
Know the god within use both whip and pad
until You appreciate this whole self
as a miraculous catalyst in between two means:
the beginning and the end of nomination,
from the birthing squeeze to the dusty offing.
With fear’s whip and hope’s pad You learn
to fashion each wing,
then go there across the sun,
intrepid, alone,
without the weight of parental fears and desires.
Without wings, simply gambol, taking no slapdash root.
Students:
Examine all within your mind’s scope,
but distrust your teachers only in humble surety
lest You cause discourtesy to them,
delude your peers,
and keep from the glee retreat
that only deft emotion brings.
Why inflame otherwise peaceful dragons anyway?
Approach your work like a samurai and inchworm,
bit by bit, sagacious, vicious yet unassuming;
all gods and great persons first began with a vow.
Groping your peak, recall at once:
the art of ageing cannot be learned alone.
Revere your teachers or suffer the way of circuitous stutter.
Teachers:
Appreciate the carelessness of youth.
None have trapped imaginative returns whilst duped by status quo;
transfix upon the extant
to surf essential substance,
know the causes of glory
to experience visceral nobility,
and respect the notional evolutions of ideology
to dodge serpentine obsession.
Students are seminal hosts
but must sow and spring alone.
Your students provide antidote for cognoscenti monotony;
have humility and acceptance in needful times.
Sharing with You, they love your most dear.
Cherish your charge or assume impotent purpose.
Preachers:
Have faith in man.
Together your ancestors wove their threads
of lifeblood and tediousness
into and with the fabrics of guests and strangers,
making evident decisions that eventually spawned thou.
Looking through your clear eyes and sitting on top of the world,
how can your decisions and those of your ancestors,
obliged by eternal force and love,
be anything but deliberate, rightful, essential?
Those keeping close to purity find this obvious.
Those chased symmetrically from reflection find this naive.
But if faith You lack in God’s sketch, disturb it not with speech.
Put down your staff, just wonder, and grow your beard awhile.
Exercise skills to hunt your delusions or create inner monstrosity.
Children, Students, Teachers, and Preachers:
How do we define the absolute
through the language of today’s custodian of reason,
within the reality of schematic science?
The absolute is the innate locutions
hosting above the fertility of destiny’s offspring.
When will the absolute tolerate the breaking of precious urns?
Traditions should be shattered in the face of obsolete justices
aiming to compromise historical definition
with auxiliary rigidity.
Act authentically now in lieu of yesterday’s orthodoxy.
THE VANQUISHING OF FEAR
IfYou writhe to vanquish fear,
just consume yourself in it
so fear befalls You on all sides in deliberate obfuscation.
If your ego permits this surrender,
trepidation folds in upon its reasons.
This fear-driven psychosis is thereby falsified,
it’s found and hunted from its root in ennui
which was discovered in the strip of time
where the self sometimes encloses itself
amidst the illusive systems of ideological control:
those anxious persuasions of other-incapacity,
the rest-stops between isolation and madness,
or the affronts of psycho-independence.
Your elected boredom
converts your pure energy into ineffectual angst:
jaded gripe of pathological vacancy,
gratuitous appeal to opulent reward.
My maenadic Sisters and Brothers:
if the tedium of your daily work infects
You with a relentless need of purging conversion,
