Linda Johnson

Linda is a healer living in the English countryside and works with both people and animals helping them each on their individual journey. Animals have always been a big source of love and support to her in a life that, as for most people, has had challenges along the way, and she gets much happiness now from being able to help animals in return, especially horses. Linda is also looking forward to working with animals and children together to encourage children’s appreciation of the natural world and to give them the opportunity to discover that animals can be our teachers and guides and that they are connected to us all. www.thehavenofhope.co.uk

MICHAEL DASHED ACROSS the courtyard of the living quarters and raced up the steps two at a time. His leather sandals slapped against the marble floor as he ran down the long hallway. At last, he came to Gabriel’s room. He knocked and rushed in.

Gabriel turned. Come in, my friend, he said.

Michael took a deep breath and let it out slowly. It’s true? Today’s the day? Michael’s eyes widened with excitement as he watched Gabriel gather the things he would need.

Yes, and you may help. Hand me that bag on the back of my door.

Michael quickly unhooked the bag and eagerly handed it to Gabriel. Wish I were going with you, he said as he slumped down on the window ledge.

Your work will soon come. You must be ready when you get the call, Gabriel said as he shoved more things into the bag.

I will be ready, Michael said. It’s just that I wish I could see their faces and hear everything. He noticed the fretful look on Gabriel’s face. What’s wrong? Are you afraid?

No. The Lord provides everything we need for any task. I was just thinking about the last time I went to earth and the odd reception I received. Gabriel looked at Michael. I told you about that old priest’s reaction when I told him he and his wife were going to have a son.

Michael nodded. Zacharias, wasn’t it? He arched his brow. Those creatures give themselves such strange names."

Names are important, Michael. Gabriel gathered up his bags and put his arm around Michael’s shoulder. Come. Sebastian said he would have the steed ready for me. We mustn’t keep him waiting.

You can’t let Zacharias affect your task this time,
