Individual and Organizational Success or Failure

About this ebook
Are you perfect? Do you know anyone who is perfect? Do you think you can improve and be happier, more successful, and a better person?
Do you know anyone who had the courage to get what he or she wanted in life by daring to change directions in life? Do you have the courage to be successful in your life?
Are you afraid of success? Did you ever wonder why some people keep doing the same things (usually mistakes) that keep them failures even though success can be theirs if they only acted differently?
This book shows you how to be successful and embrace it with courage.
Life is a simple system: you were born, raised, and when you reached school age you attended classes and learned a system of reading and writing, and perhaps you majored in some field. That is all good, but those things (things you learned in school) are only basic and raw tools.
Life has its own rules and secrets that this book will unravel and show you all you to know. It is up to you not your teachers, or bosses, or your parents, or anyone else to act and make your life a success and get you what you want from it, because nobody else will hand it to you.
You can do it. Just start today and right now; good things will happen for people who try. Good things will happen for you.
Brahim Derder
Brahim Derder is a professor at Miami Dade College (MDC), Miami, Florida, the largest community college in the United States of America. He counseled thousands of students, and people from all walks of life. His experience and expertise in the field of motivational psychology spans more than 30 years. He is a mathematician, philosopher, and a counselor. He wrote thousands of articles about motivating others. He also wrote and published other books such as “Regain your self- esteem”, and Individual and Organizational success or failure” Psychology and self-help topics started to interest me more that 30 years ago. As a child, I read every book I could find in the library or wherever, and then I summarized it in my own words. I read thousands of self-help and general psychology books in French, Arabic, and English. Human behavior fascinates and intrigues me because it can not really be quantified; it can only be interpreted. Human behavior is like art, and we all are the artists. Its study became a mission for me. Ultimately this persistence of studying human behavior led me to raise a very exciting question “Can studying human behavior as it relates to its causes, manifestations and its roots be framed logically, and can we trace the roots that are causing an abnormal/normal behavior? In other words, can we establish cause and effect between what we think, do, and what happens in our lives? Is human behavior (normal or abnormal) an acquired skill? And if so, can we change our behavior in our life to become happier and more successful? Can we regain our joy of living after we get to the edge of depression and despair? The answers are a resounding yes to all the questions. There is hope for all of us to do better and be happier, and ultimately live life with joy of living, and this is what life is about. After decades of real life experience and theoretical and empirical research I came to the conclusion that indeed our logical mind and our behavior are interrelated and behavior affects our mind and vice-versa. My experience in life taught me that our patterns of actions and thoughts, indeed, can influence our minds, moods, feelings, and our entire psyche on one side of the same coin. On the other side of same the coin, our mind and thoughts can influence our actions and behavior when we apply our minds to effectuate and make things happen, as psychosomatic confirms this premise. I wrote “You can Regain control of Your Life and Be Happy Again” to show you that your happiness, success, health (mental and physical), and all your well-being can be influenced positively by your thoughts and actions or inactions, by thinking and acting upon your thoughts, and ultimately you will You can Regain control of Your Life and Be Happy Again.
