OBITUARY

Died 24-7-365 in America’s Gov’t, USA

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend by the name of Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as—knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, you reap what you sow, drugs don’t cure anything, and that we learn many essential things that we really need to know in Kindergarten.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don’t spend more than you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not kids, are in charge). His health began to rapidly deteriorate when well intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place….

Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. His health declined even further when students shot up the schools in Columbine, with weapons for which parents took no responsibility…He then went into a deep depression when schools and companies were excused from practicing Affirmative Action….and did not have to advocate cultural diversity, which includes teaching Black History; however they could not inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense was on his last leg when as the Ten Commandments became contraband; too many churches became style shows; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense had been doing much better through getting treatments via a highly qualified Chiropractor and Herbalist, eating a whole food diet, drinking juices, taking herbs, and receiving spinal adjustments—but his Health Insurance was limited and would not pay for these types of treatments. Later the FDA and Government began harassing these healers and thus, shut down their office.

Common Sense finally gave up the ghost after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot, she spilled a bit in her lap, and was awarded a huge settlement. This news was devastating since his wife had been injured in an auto accident…and the crooked insurance company did everything they could to refrain from compensating his wife for the disabling injuries.

Finally, Common Sense lost the will to live when a major Hurricane hit the Gulf Coast area of the U.S.A.—and the Government failed to rescue, feed, or protect thousands of its citizens via sending help, water and food. The Gov’t made it to Iraq in 2 days, but it took 5 days to begin getting water to victims in the Gulf Coast disaster. These same people of color had been historical victims of unemployment, discrimination, lack of education, poverty, and neglect. The death blow was dealt when President G. W. Bush and FEMA arrived late…filled with flimsy excuses as to why they had not rescued the innocent victims of their budgetary neglect. When the news reported that RED TAPE had caused the delay in rescuing the hurricane victims,"—but no tape of any stripe had deterred the billions of dollars used to fight in Iraq—Common Sense became bed-ridden.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust, his wife, Discretion; his 2 daughters—Spirituality and Responsibility; and his son, Reason.

Not many attended his funeral because those who loved him most were caught up in the aftermath of the Hurricane disaster in the New Orleans area, helping survivors, sending money to the Red Cross, and tracking down lost relatives, etc.

…and so few others realized Common Sense was gone!

THE WORLD IS A GHETTO…

While millions and billions of dollars pass through casinos, such as those in Las Vegas—for games of chance, billions of people are suffering from starvation, homelessness and disease around the world. Gas and food prices continue to climb along with the rate of suffering. Poverty abounds all over the world and in the U.S. Every 3 seconds a child dies from poverty and hunger.

The war in Iraq is finally coming home, at least to the people of southeastern Louisiana. The flooding that has all but destroyed New Orleans and the Gulf Coast bayou country is virtually a direct result of George W. Bush’s whimsical misadventure in the Middle East—and his life-depriving budget cuts at home. The Trial of the Century—Saddam Hussein (defendant) promises to expose to the world the unethical corruption of many of the world’s leaders.

The war on drugs has not been won. There is an epidemic of drug abuse– especially the one known as Meth…. having caught on and spread like wildfire throughout the U.S.—causing sickness and death for those who dare to use it.

The extent of Hurricane Katrina’s destruction is not limited to life and land, writes Gerard Wright. It has eaten away at America’s social fibre. New Orleans is now the great shame of America, as it wonders how, days after this catastrophe, its most defenseless citizens can be so palpably abandoned. There is no shortage of wild weather occuring all over the planet—earthquakes, floods, tsunamis, tornadoes, blizzards, and hurricanes.

And in the course of these human events, Mother Nature issues some reminders—

Although our modern 21st century world is faced with numerous difficult problems, such as the terrorists, racism, cultural conflicts, economic difficulties, world hunger, insurance corruption, and other major issues, we now face horrific dangers, such as AIDS, fierce weather, widespread sickness, starvation, pollution, nuclear threats, and terrorism. AIDS has devastated many parts of the world, especially Africa…and there is seemingly no solution at hand.

If you have never experienced starvation, you are RICHER than 500 million people in the world.

If you have a place to live, food to eat, and clothes to wear…you are better off than 75% of the world.

If you have never been in war or a violent battle…you are better off than 500 million people in the world.

The sick irony of these statistics is that most people in the U.S.A. live in much more comfort and have more food than most of the rest of world. Yet, Americans commit more crimes, are addicted to more drugs, and create more pollution and wars than any other country.

While most of the people in the world suffer from hunger and malnutrition, U. S. Government statistics show that almost 65% of adults in this country weigh too much and about 31% are obese, which is 30 or more pounds over a healthy weight. Being overweight can cause health problems such as diabetes, heart disease, arthritis and some types of cancer.

While a major controversy rages in the U.S. Congress over improving Health Care, and providing Health Insurance—it becomes more and more obvious that none of the typical solutions proposed, such as: the new Medicare Prescription Discounts, or the limitations placed upon lawsuits—will ultimately solve the problems.

It is noteworthy that the debate on national health care reform has dealt mostly, with insurance coverage and medical care financing, while avoiding any serious discussion concerning the true health of the nation.’

The modern world of medicine has certainly created many new ways of helping us to live longer and to improve our state of health. We have nearly wiped out horrible diseases, such as polio, small pox, STDs, and diptheria.

PLUS…to make matters worse—now we live in a society where the cost of health care has sky-rocketed, and million of Americans do not have health insurance to pay for basic care.

Science has certainly accomplished many wonderful feats. HOWEVER…Our society continues to suffer from deadlier diseases, such as: Cancer, Arthritis, Parkinsons, and AIDS.

THE LAST DAYS?

* Are these signs of the END of this world?

Some people say yes!

Some people argue that the characteristic of ‘end time or last days’ people have been our character throughout the ages and that people haven’t really changed. In its simplest form, that is true. It’s not that we don’t do the same things, what’s relevant is that we do it with increasing intensity and we are teaching new ways of doing it. Certainly, these things have been happening since the beginning of time. However, the intensity of these things today is such that we dare not blind our eyes to their meaning.

The signs are unmistakable for those who know what to look for… explains Dr. Karl Johansen, an information specialist with the Crucible Institute. A new Bible Code Report compiled by the world’s top religious scholars has revealed that the End Times warnings along with the Tribulation will begin in 2005. The End Times would be a period of wars, pestilence, disharmony, lethal diseases, false prophets, and environmental upheaval.

Several other major religions also predict a period of tribulations.

These are extraordinary times.

Some New Age philosophers are claiming that there is a major shift occuring in the planetary movements…that the Milky Way Galaxy (in which the

Earth thrives) is moving into other dimensions.

Scientists say that the root of these problems are:

The burning of oil and gas has caused wars, terrorism and put holes in the Ozone, resulting in Global Warming, which causes severe weather.

Destruction of Rainforests have caused Oxygen depletion in our atmosphere—resulting in diseases, while killing the plant medicines found in the Rainforests.

Most of our politicians, leaders, scholars and corporate executives have tried to bury their heads and not even look at the fact that govenments have acted to kill the planet.

American Indian Prophecies is not about the end of the world but, rather, a change of worlds—the beginning of a new Earth cycle.

When Western (Euro-centric) prophets see into the future they envision Armageddon. The end of the world. When native prophets look down that same path they see the completion of a great cycle. A change of worlds.

Native peoples experience time as a cycle. There are four stages, such as the seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Like a hoop. Each stage is a preparation for the next. At the center of the hoop is a still timelessness; the eternal present around which the cycles revolve. The visions of native prophets occur at that center point from where the cycles of change can be seen. There is no end.

Like a dormant tree enduring winter, the Indian’s respect for the earth, their desire to live in harmony with nature, lives still, waiting to bloom again in the next world cycle. Only by honoring Mother Earth, Indian shamans tell us, can we avert disaster. We have their example and their prophets to guide the human family into the new world. We are one with all creation.

Human history is a story of transformation. We change our physical world through technology and our metaphysical world through religion. Many of our present difficulties arise out of the fact that our physical world is shifting faster than our ability to assimilate the changes. Concurrently, our spiritual life has withered and became weak from inattention.

Our bodies and our spirits are off balance and out of sync. This results in feelings of confusion, impotence and stress. Anything we do under these conditions will be less than optimum. For our own well-being we must transform ourselves, and remake our world.

It is time to listen to the spiritual elders of this continent when they implore us to honor Mother Earth and to quit poisoning our bodies and the planet. Perhaps, with Western ingenuity and native wisdom we can cross the threshold into a new earth.

Spiritual and holistic values were at the core of old social establishments—ranging from Kemet to China to ancient American Indians. All of these Ancient philosophies included a belief in use of herbs for medicines, in living in harmony with Nature—and that humanity originated from the sky—or from other planets.

HISTORY:

ANCIENT PHILOSOPHERS:

There were many teachers, preachers, and gurus of old who spoke of the proper way to live, good foods to eat, use of herbs, and how to live in harmony with Nature. If we examine these ancient words of wisdom from ancient Africa, China, India, Mexico, and Native American (Indians), we find many similarities, and much of the same good teachings. But in our fast-paced modern society, most of us have snubbed this knowledge and went on our selfish path of destruction.

Confucius was a teacher from ancient China, spoke of many important issues and taught wise ways. Nearly 2500 years ago when intrigue and vice were rampant in feudal China, the philosopher Confucius taught principles of proper conduct and social relationships that embraced high ethical and moral standards. Confucius’s teachings and wisdom were standard scholarly education for the bureaucrats who administered the country.

Hippocrates (who is called the western Father of Medicine) was actually a practicing nutritionist & dietitian. His concepts as to how to heal every disease in the body were directly related to foods & nutrition. He advocated a diet of healing…

The ancient Nubians (Egyptians) are believed to be the f i r s t h u m a n r a c e o n e a r t h , a n d m o s t o f t h e i r c u s t o m s a n d t r a d i t i o n s w e r e a d o p t e d b y t h e a n c i e n t E g y p t i a n s . AFRICAN WISDOM:

Out of the ancient African approach to life there came a great freedom, an intense and absorbing respect for life, enriching faith in a Supreme Power, and principles of truth, honesty, generosity, equity, health, cleanliness, sharing, cooperation, and brotherhood as a guide to mundane relations.

But somehow, our modern world has deviated from the rich and valuable wisdom of old.

I n o r d e r f o r u s t o h e a l t h e w o u n d s , sicknesses, a n d s c a r s a n d t o s u r v i v e i n a w o r l d t h a t h a s g o n e crazy, we must reach out to understand the great h e r i t a g e w h i c h g a v e u s b i r t h .

GODS AND GODDESSES:

All cultures have their own creation stories of the ‘gods and goddesses,’ beings on ships that came from the skies (often wearing masks or strange clothing and possessed some amazing abilities), giants (Anakim), war epochs between two sides of a family, and all over the Earth we also share very similar artwork, music and technology, largely based on extraterrestrial activity and intervention. From Lemuria to Atlantis to Sumeria to Egypt. These portray the story of our cosmos, the constellations, sun and moon, and put into human and god forms.

THE OLDEST BOOKS IN THE WORLD:

From ancient Kemet (Egypt)—

To the ancient Egyptians, the sun was considered to be God—RA.

Ptah was a creator god, the third highest god in Egypt. Ptah was only overshadowed by the sun god Ra, and the hidden god Amun. He fashioned the universe through words of power and by thought, as well as creating different parts by hand.

Ptah-hotep served during the reign of Izezi as a sage. His maxims are in the Prisse Papyrus which are in the Louvre. Another copy of these is in the British Museum. In these maxims, he has told his fellow Kemetian to conduct their affairs in a quiet and righteous manner. He encouraged them to be truthful and be kind and tolerant to their neighbors and fellow countrymen. Most of his concern was for the oppressed and weak.

GODDESS OF TRUTH:

Maát is ethical principles collectively embracing the values of truth, justice, harmony, balance, cosmological order, reciprocity and propriety. Personified as a goddess, Maát is depicted as a woman wearing an ostrich feather (feather of truth (Maát) on her head, a symbol of the principles she represents.

Controlling the movement of the stars and the seasonal flooding of the Nile River, Maát also had codes of tradition and customs. For all Egyptians to live in a happy, prosperous and peaceful environment, they had to live within the order established by Maát. The pharaoh, as absolute ruler, was the individual most responsible to manifest in
