The Many Moods of Me.: My Thoughts in Poetry
()
About this ebook
I reside in the Port of Spain area and have lived here for most of my life and for as long as I can remember I have been writing, not just poetry, but novels and expressions.
I have had the honour of having more than one of my poems read(much to my surprise) at graduation ceremonies.
I have been all over our fair lands and every part has provided me with stimuli conducive to writing.
It is my passion, my joy, my life, and I thank God that I was born here to be a part of such a beautiful country.
Veronica Mylls
Residing on the twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean, has been quite the poetic adventure. Our culture and colourful historical backgrounds have been passed down through the generations and we, as a result are an interesting and colourful intergration of peoples. I reside in the Port of Spain area and have lived here for most of my life and started writing poems from as early as five or six. Although poetry is indeed my first love, I have also written stories that I hope to have published in the very near future. I have had the honour of having more than one of my poems read(much to my pleasant surprise) at graduation ceremonies. I have been all over our fair lands and every part has provided me with stimuli conducive to writing. It is my passion, my joy, my life, and I thank God that I was born here to be a part of such a beautiful country.

We all share a common goal of getting our works published and worthy of being sold. We will caress the hearts of the world, as with words full of sentiment, our humanity unfurls.
And those who made fun of us, criticized and doubted us, will be amongst those who will be in awe of us. For we will succeed in reaching those who seem not to care whether ‘Father Time’ stays or whether he goes.
Many a tear will we entice from once dry eyes; many will hunger for our words with relentless appetites. Craving for our written words as though the lives of their knowledge depended on our being heard.
And our stories will be legendary, told and retold for many a century. And the wish born in us that we all shared for many a year gone by; that our penned words would have the power to reach others before we die, would truly come to pass and proudly we can then take a much deserved bow. For our names will live on beyond the
