      Introduction

      Wow, I am sitting here in awe that I have completed my first book, Nurturing Wisdom.

      I would love to share with you part of the journey that brought this book into being.

      My conscious awareness journey of life began just over five years ago, when on a personal level, my life was in deep turmoil and emotional pain. Upon reflection, this was probably one of the best gifts in my life!

      I began searching. I was looking for something that would be fulfilling, something that would be of service to others. I found myself drawn to a Reiki 1 course which was taking place three days later.

      I had no previous experience of Reiki on any level, but I had a deep knowing, a deep conviction inside that this course was significant.

      The Reiki course created an amazing, defining moment, a time of awakening to the bigger picture. So began my journey of deeper learning of my truth. After numerous spiritually centred courses, and possessing an insatiable need to read and know more, January 2010 dawned and I felt a desire from deep within to create my Nurturing Humanity page on Facebook, a forum to share my inspirational thoughts. It was to be a place for others to read my words, feel the words, with the intent that these words may assist them to connect to that deeper part within and possibly help them on their incredible journey here on earth.
