      I would first and foremost like to dedicate this book to my Lord and Savior Jesus, who saw me as faithful enough to entrust me with such an incredible responsibility. I truly hope I haven’t failed him. If I am aware of any significant reason for my existence, it is to be a vessel of his purpose, an instrument of his glory, and object of his majestic nature.

      Secondly, I would like to thank and dedicate this book to my wife and daughter who have been a source of inspiration and a means of motivation. Because you believed in me, it was easier to believe in myself. Every good thing comes out of right intentions, and the motivation of good people around you to push you toward the fulfillment of them. I’ll never underestimate the power of support.

      Thirdly, to my mother, who is unable to share my accomplishments from the realm of the natural, but who I know is now a part of that all so great a cloud of witnesses. May your every effort to guide me on the path of truth never prove to be in vain.       INSIDE THE MIND OF THE AUTHOR

      There is a very interesting verse of scripture in the Old Testament that summarizes the reason why I decided to compile what turned out to be over ten years of notes into this book. The book of Habakkuk, the 2nd chapter, verses 2-3 says, And the Lord answered me and said, write the vision, and make it plain upon tables that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

      Seventeen years ago, when God began to rend the veil of the flesh and open up to me many of the mysteries of laws, nature, space-time, and spiritual existence, I had no idea they would be compiled into a book. In the early 1980s, God brought a unique spirit into my life that helped me to realize that there was significance between what I was studying in school at the time and spiritual revelation. In 1989, I felt the unction of the Holy Spirit moving me to write down and record the many revelations that would follow. I was without any idea at the time those notes would result in LET THIS MIND BE IN YOU. As I began going through the notes and categorizing them, I realized they fit into three categories. "Laws and nature, The mind of Christ, and Space-time and eternity."

      LAWS AND NATURE is a unique revelation that God had given me, leading and guiding me to see that the natural world exists simply to reveal and express a deeper revelation of the eternal, a medium in which God expresses His glory.

      He began to open up to me an incredible insight into the unity that exists between science and the scriptures, and how science being a study of natural things is really an observation of natures, laws, and characteristics as they reveal themselves through the natural world.

      I began to realize that there really was no contradiction between true science and the Bible, because the same God that birthed the Bible was the same God that created the worlds. The physical universe was simply another means in which He revealed Himself to us. This consilience that exists between science and God’s word is evidence of His consistent nature. The second category of notes was birthed in the first set. In realizing the purpose for Creation, I began to understand what the scriptures meant concerning HAVING THE MIND OF CHRIST. For how could we be expected to have his mind unless he has revealed his mind to us? Creation itself being a medium of expressing his existence would ultimately take away the excuse of even the most carnal-minded who may express there is no God. Not only is there evidence for His existence, but evidence for the purpose of ours as well. The original intent for man having been created was to be an expression of God’s glory and of His splendor, operating in the mind and the image of his creator. Man being placed in the midst of a world of evidence would not be able to deny Him nor dismiss His existence. Nature would be a means that God would use to reveal to us the very nature and character of Himself. As God began to unfold these mysteries to me, it became apparent as to the nature and purpose of time as well, thus birthing SPACE-TIME AND SPIRITUALITY. For if all that has been created has been created to reveal to us the nature and mind of Christ, then why not time?

      Time is the matrix that houses the many manifested expressions of our Creator, setting before us a stage in which His many wonders would play out before our eyes. Time and physical reality are beacons on the canvas of existence, pointing the way to a glory far beyond them. Space-time and spirituality harmoniously working together showing man that his Creator cares enough to share and to show Himself.

      This intriguing verse of scripture in the book of Habakkuk is one that expresses the true reason and purpose for the writing down of any vision. God shares with us for the purpose of us sharing with others that we all may become footmen of the truth, and revelation of God’s word. I must say that the journey of writing and publishing this book has not been an easy one, but though the vision tarry, wait on it, in the end it shall speak and not lie.

      PREFACE

      Why is it significant to know and understand anything about the nature and character of natural things? Is the way we live our lives really a reflection of our character, or is it possible to separate the character of a thing from the thing itself? In theoretical physics, there is a principle of relationship called observer and reality, which simply means that all that is observed is not necessarily reality. It implies that the reality you observe as the observer could very well be different than the reality of the one you are observing in the experience. Could this scientific look into the nature of what we call physical reality lend evidence to spiritual (eternal) existence?

      As far back in history as you can go, many of our great philosophers like Galileo and Democritus pondered the nature of physical and spiritual existence. Why is there such elusiveness to something that is experienced on an everyday basis? What makes it so easy for some to dismiss the existence of the spiritual and indulge the affluence of this world with the fervor of an Epicurean, and others cling to the hopes of eternal existence with almost no regard for the voluminous riches of this life? What does the Bible have to say about the nature of physical reality and how it contrasts to spiritual reality? Is there anything to be gained or learned of the spiritual through the study of natural laws? As we ponder these questions, we must wonder if there will ever be a consilience between the Bible and the philosophy of scientific observation. My impetus for writing this book comes from my desire to see others seek as I have a deeper look into what I believe to be overwhelming evidence in support of spiritual existence. To have the reader search the dimensions of reality that lie far beyond the limited realm of sense perception. As the Apostle Paul said, I would not have you ignorant concerning spiritual things.

      Having been a student myself regarding the study of the nature of this world by way of electronic engineering, it has always been quite intriguing to me as to the complexity and obviously deliberate design of nature. How can man make a discovery of pre-existing laws, make them applicable to his physical existence with lucrative gain, and never give any glory to the one who has made it all possible? What significance is there to the traditions and culture of a people that can shape and manipulate their view of physical and spiritual reality? There are times when the traditions and prejudices
