    A Christmas Poem

    Christmas time is here

    Spread the joy and cheer

    Sing the Christmas songs

Like Silent Night and Deck the Halls

    We’re outside having a ball

Buying presents and decorating the tree

    Putting on candy canes

Umm they taste good to me

Volunteering your help at open door mission

Doing your best to grant all the wishes

    Lights outside the house

Wearing the Christmas color, red and green on your blouse

Sitting down under mistletoe waiting for a kiss

The Christmas carolers sounding so bliss.

Seeing Santa Claus and his elves

Making toys for us and everyone else

Sending letters to Santa at the north pole

The winter weather is so cold

Listening to your parents doing what your told

Because he knows whose naughty or nice

    His lists never get old

Remember the reindeer who rides Santa’s sleigh

Dancer and Prancer and all the other names

Christmas time is fun and happy, a time to be gay

    black.jpg

    A Dozen Roses

A dozen roses was sent to me

But I don’t know where they are from

There is no card or letter from what I see

I’m curious, I have no idea who

How am I suppose to say thank you

They are lovely yes they are

They must have come from a huge star

    From way, way far

There colorful, not one is red

It’s just what I like, how did they read my head

It made me so happy when it came to my door

But I can’t except theses because I don’ know who there for

    black.jpg

A English Teacher Who Wasn’t Good At English

There was an English teacher who wasn’t good at English

All she could do was sing it and listen

She couldn’t spell the words right

If you asked her to spell hair

    She would spell there

If you asked her to spell steps

    She would spell streps

She was so bad she didn’t know how to write an essay

She always stopped and was guessy

If you asked her to write beginning to end

She would from beginning to end

    Her papers were never ending

    She wasn’t good at grammar

She spelled words wrong on the banner

She didn’t but the ing when the words had the ing

    Like being and seeing

She didn’t put an before a vowel

And she didn’t listen to the towel

She didn’t know her adjective or verbs

She got confused when she said these as words

Like she said big as a verb and jump as an adjective

And said mixed up words like mentative and sensitive

She didn’t know her adverbs or prepositions

    Like under, towards, and now

    Or moving quick or how

She miss pronounced words like easy and free

    And cupcake, doll and bee

    She didn’t know her punctuation

    Like apostrophe and comma

She didn’t use it when she wrote groups of words

    Like pizza laugh and llama

    A Fathers Love

Nothing can compare to a fathers love

    You can never get enough

Even though you huffed and buffed

    Explaining thing you don’t understand

When you need help he is at hand.

Talking about things and how to be a man

Spending time and expressing her feelings

Watching me play, the love he is ending

    Hugs is always willing

Broken hearts he is good at mending

When he or she is there in a jam he is defending

When you have a cut or boo boo he is there mending

    Picking us up from school

Riding in the car so smooth

    Sitting there is really cool

Going out to dinner on special occasions

Making sure we get our food alright

A good job for the kids he’s raising

    A fathers love is special

    Something you can’t do without

A fathers love you know what its about

    A Love Story

From the moment I saw you and looked into your eyes I felt something on the inside. I had a since of pride and I knew you were mine. When I first saw you it was like love at first sigh and I prayed you would be mine with all my might. I saw you on the bus and riding your bike. There was nothing about you I didn’t like. I was scared to talk to you because I was the girl. But anything happens now in this day, in this world. I was nervous but you couldn’t see it on the surface. I was afraid you were smart and were going to say no. But the answer I had to know. We clicked and from then on went smooth sailing. But that first kiss was awkward, kind of failing. But that’s why I love you, you were cute and compelling. We dated then began going steady. You were hesitant but I was ready. That’s another quality that I liked. Not going forward till’ you know everything alright. We went together for about 24 months. Then I said he’s going to get me engaged I said with a hunch. He did it with the ground on his knee. And he said it so romantic yet sweetly. Those are the qualities I like to see. When he did it, it sure did please me. A year later we got married and had a kid. We loved each other so that’s what we did.

    A Man’s Life

    I’m a poor man

    I’ll work for food

    I have little clothes

    I’m almost nude

    I’m a working man

I went from the bottom to the top

From holding a mop to being a ceo

Now people ask me where to go

    I’m a family man

    Making decisions and plans

Trying my best to provide and protect

If there’s something wrong I can detect

    I’m an old man

    Resting till my dying day

    Giving my advice when needed

    Telling them how I succeeded

    A Mothers Love

A mothers love is always there

    It will never disappear

Being there when you need them when it’s time

    Because chances are never slim

Cooking dinner when we are hungry

Fixing us food because we are mungry

A mothers love can never be replaced

A mothers love can never be erased

A mothers love is one of a kind

    Something you can’t never deny

A love you can never question why

A mothers love keeps you warm

A mothers love is there after a storm

A mother’s love you cannot compare

    We go out to eat

This kind of love is a special treat

A mothers love is there when you need it the most

A mothers love is there and it always show

    A New Beginning

A new beginning has already begun

All you have to do is rise with the morning sun

    all your troubles are gone

No more lies, no more tricks

    No more making people sick

Just do what your told and you’ll get the hang of it.

    Listen, be good be wise

But be comfortable with no disguise

    Act nice, be stern

Be glad of the money you earn

No more people talking behind your back

No more people saying, Oh my god he did that.

No more getting let go from God

No one saying is he going to rob

    A new beginning

Now helping hands are there for lending

I no longer shoplift or steal from stores with prices so high

No more talking about my past and saying I have a bad reputation

Now I can enjoy a simple conversation

    I don’t have to lie

I don’t have to use my imagination

I have goals and I have a destination

    I love this sensation

A Poem A Day Keeps the Doctor Away

A poem is healthy for the mind, body, and heart

See it makes you think like a work of art

But to take it you must understand it by analyzing part by part

And you got to do your part

If you want to be healthy a poem a day is were you start

Do one a day and you’ll start to feel much better

Even if it’s snowing or bad weather

It praises you and gives you energy

It lets you get fresh air and pinery

It tastes great like you know it should

Don’t be afraid to try it, it makes you feel good

Don’t’ be afraid to write specially if it’s something you like

Just read a poem you like a lot

Make sure you read it on the spot

Read it with all you got

Sometimes it’s hard, sometimes it’s not

Just give it everything you got

Just follow the doctor’s order and read one a day

    Don’t turn away

If you don’t have one it’s okay, we can write one for you

Just ask the doctor and they know what to do

Please don’t hesitate to call if you need help

We’ll tell you what to do step by step

Take your time you’ll see that it works

If you do it right at the end you’ll have a smirk
