About this ebook

God said why would He send Jesus to die for your sins over 2000 years
ago and then later on say it is okay for you to continue in sin? That
would mean that Jesus died for nothing and better yet, there would
not have been a need for Jesus to die such a gruesome death if God
approves of your sins. The devil has fooled many people and use to
have me fooled until God took me and taught me the truth. I was
chosen for this purpose and that is to speak to every nation to tell the
people what thus said the Lord.

Laveria Dent

Laveria Dent is the founder Living Sacrifice Ministries, Inc. God spoke to Laveria in 1987 and said, "present your body a living sacrifice". Since that time she has been through many trials and tribulations, many afflictions but the Lord delivered her from them all. She was ordained in 1995 as a Evangelist and since then has served as an Associated Pastor, Minister of Praise, has had several radio, television, and internet broadcast through which thousands have been delivered. Her ministry continues to grow as God leads her to minister to His people of all walks of life. Living Sacrifice Ministries is primarily a deliverance ministry wherein God directs her into areas of the lives of His people that are being held captive by the enemy (satan), that they might be made free. God has used Laveria in the ministry of healing, casting out demons, prophecy, and praise and worship. She has committed her life to serving God at whatever cost and stands firm on the scriptures Romans 12:1-2.

    Note to the Reader

Please note that certain words, such as satan and devil, have been deliberately written in lower case letters in most contexts so as to represent the analogy of the size of satan and his tactics to that of our God. Satan is a small thing that can create big problems if you allow him to, but if you serve God and are living for Him, whatever satan and his demons do is a small thing compared with what God can do in you and through you.

Remember, satan and demons are created beings just as you and I are, and God would not create anything that He could not control. Also please note that the scriptures have been taken from the King James Version of the Bible.

When I refer to man or mankind, I am referring to both male and female and all races, religions, creeds, and nations. Absolutely no one is exempt. The entire human race is included, whether saint or sinner. Therefore, when you read this book, I suggest that you place your name wherever man or mankind is noted. It is not God’s desire that any should perish, but many will perish because of their own unbelief, stubbornness, and rebellion.

    INTRODUCTION

Many times I have heard the saying, Once saved always saved, which many people think is scriptural. This passage is not in the Bible, but many preachers have quoted this fiction from the pulpit. I have searched the Bible through and through, and I have not found this passage.

Many times we fall for lies that seem so much like the truth because we want to feel comfortable in our sins. Because of our human nature, we tend to hold on to the comfortable myths and they eventually become truth in our mind. Nevertheless, some of the thoughts, ideas, and myths are far from the truth. If we hear a lie long enough and believe it, that lie then becomes truth to us; and if the majority agrees, it is then written into law in our lives and sometimes in the books of the laws of the land. Because many have believed a lie from the devil rather than the truth of God, they have fallen from fellowship with God, yet they continue to pretend to be in fellowship with Him.

Many people who attend church learn how to act and say the right thing to appear holy on the outside, yet their insides are filthy rages. In order to break this yoke one must face the truth of God’s Word. It is not enough that we hear the Word only; we must be doers of the Word, according to James 1:22, lest we deceive ourselves. If you are in sin you cannot continue to sin and think that it is okay with God. God is a God of love but He is also a God of wrath, and if He did not spare Sodom and Gomorrah, surely He will not spare you.

Before you say that we are under grace and not under the law, let me remind you that Romans 15:4 says, For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. This book was written to show you the myth, the truth, to expose the devil and show man the way back to God.

Read this book as if your life depends on it. It is a love message from God. At times what you read will not feel good to your flesh and you may become angry, but I suggest that you let go of everything that you thought you knew and allow God to clean you and redirect your thoughts. Remember, any living thing can learn, but the number of degrees you may have does not make you all-knowing. Only God is omniscient.

    CHAPTER ONE

The devil will have you believe that you can commit any kind of ungodly sin and remain in sin because God loves you and will forgive you each time you sin. God will forgive us, but we cannot and should not repeat the same sin that we have asked God to forgive us of. When we repeat the same offense we say to God that we are using Him and taking His grace for granted. Scripture say that God commended His love for us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Rom. 5:8). Does that mean that we should continue in sin? No. It means that God loved us so much that Jesus gave His own life for our sins. Jesus did not commit sin, but He was willing to become sin—and did in fact become sin—for us that we might have a way back to God.

Romans 3:23 says, For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. However, all scripture was also written for our learning. Man cannot live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God. Therefore, we need every word of God in order to live. Look at Romans 6:1–3 it says, What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore, if you say that you are in Christ and have been baptized, why should you continue to sin? So many people have been fooled by the enemy and live a life of sin. Sin has become second nature—they no longer consider what they do sin and have no conviction because that sin has now become a way of life. That is why we see so much immorality; people have accepted sin as a natural thing. The devil will have you believe a lie rather than the truth. However, just because immorality is rampant does not make it moral in any form or fashion, nor does immorality make God any less holy, and not obeying God or living up to God’s standards does not change God’s standards.

Anyone who believes that he can continue to sin and that this is all right with God are sadly mistaken. Everything about God is holy, and He will not allow sin to enter into heaven. Let me establish one thing here. If you are continuing in sin, living in the flesh, living a carnal life you cannot please God, and sin is of the flesh. Therefore, regardless of your titles, your position in church, and your accomplishments in life, if you are in sin, you are not pleasing God. It does not matter how many times you go to church or how many gifts and talents you have if you are in sin, I repeat: you are not pleasing God. You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool God any time. You are carnal and an enemy of God. Romans 8:7–8 says, Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. If you continue to practice your fleshly lifestyle, you are not pleasing God.

Romans 6:23 says, For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. If you continue in sin and do not repent you will die an eternal death separated from God forever. If you think God is pleased with your sin, no matter what the sin is, and if you think that God accepts your immorality, take a look at Psalm 7:11: God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day. If you are sinning you are wicked and God is angry with you every day of the week. God does not and will not accept your sin, but He will forgive you of your sin if you repent and turn from your wicked ways.

God is looking for true worshippers. In John 4:23–24 Jesus said, But the hour cometh and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. If you are in sin, how can you say that you worship God in spirit and in truth? You cannot worship God in truth because sin is not truth. God is holy, and in Him there is no sin or evil. God therefore does not honor sin. One cannot put worship on top of sin and call it holiness. God sees the heart of man, and He knows when we are unclean.

When you look at your life and it is a life of sin, you also have to look at
