Alias: A Lie in a Situation
()
About this ebook
Everybody will tell a lie in certain situations, whether by mistake or on purpose. It doesnt matter what their position or status is at the time. Presidents, politicians, policemen, clergy, spouses, fiancs, friends, and even children create lies in situations to escape something. The word alias, when viewed as an acronym, breaks down the true meaning of hiding the truth. A-L-I-A-S; A Lie In A Situation. Everybody tells one!
Michael Cassaderia, a self centered 62 African American popular basketball player, and recent graduate of the University of South Florida in Tampa, discovers that although a man can be content with one woman in a relationship, the right woman with the right persistence at the right time can penetrate a solid foundation and vice-versa. College women, especially sorority sisters like Shannon Munroe, Trish Allen, Sophia Reyes, and Rosita Crews are experts at creating a lie in a situation; an alias story. Unfortunately, vulnerable men are often their targets. While Michael succumbs to their tactics and devises his own lie to go incognito and rendezvous with Sophia, his lonely, neglected, and often abandoned fiance, Chantel Prasad, generates her own unique little lie to catch up with an ex-boyfriend. Whats good for the goose becomes great for the gander! Any man who lies and misleads his woman to cheat on her deserves to be lied to and cheated on. But, the real question isCan he take it?
Miguel Cassaderia
His father was a reknown business owner of multiple businesses; while his mother was a school teacher and taught Math and English over a period of thirty (30) years. Both parents were of the Masonic Order, in that, his Father hailed from Sophia Temple #188 and his Mother hailed from the Daughters of ISIS #165. Although God called his Father home while Michael was seven years old, and his mother seven years thereafter at fourteen years old, after a short football career, Michael went on and joined the United States Army and became a U.S. Paratrooper stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. Michael achieved the rank of Sergeant very quickly; although his military career would only last for approximately eight years. Through trials and tribulations, Michael moved towards completing his Associate's Degree and met a Professor by the name of Joyce Williams who taught Public Speaking at Kansas City Kansas Community College. Ms. Williams inspired Michael to write this book long before he developed the concept. A Lie In A Situation or A>L>I>A>S> is something that Michael had witnessed throughout all of his life. Everybody will tell a lie in a situation! Presidents, Police, Clergy, etc..... After completing a song about Alias, Michael began to reflect on things that happened in his life and how he witnessed people tell lies to cover themselves or to obtain certain advantages. He began to put these thoughts on paper and after several chapters decided that ALIAS would be his first official publication.

When we hear the word alias, we think about an aka or a lie being told to a police officer. But, it’s deeper than that! The letters of the word itself expose the true meaning by definition. A-L-I-A-S; A Lie In A Situation. It doesn’t matter if it’s a fabricated story you tell your girlfriend or boyfriend; a fake name given to the Police; or a lie told to America. Everybody will tell a lie in certain situations, whether by mistake or on purpose. It doesn’t matter what their position or status is at the time. Presidents, politicians, policemen, clergy, spouses, fiancés, friends, and even children create lies in situations to escape something. The word alias, when viewed as an acronym, breaks down the true meaning of hiding the truth. A-L-I-A-S; A Lie In A Situation. Everybody tells one!
Michael Cassaderia, a self centered 6’2" African American popular basketball player, and recent graduate of the University of South Florida in Tampa, discovers that although a man can be content with one woman in a relationship, the right woman with the right persistence at the right time can penetrate a solid foundation and vice-versa. College women, especially sorority sisters like Shannon Munroe, Trish Allen, Sophia Reyes, and Rosita Crews are experts at creating a lie in a situation; an alias story. What’s good for the goose becomes great for the gander! Any man who lies and misleads his woman to cheat on her deserves to be lied to and cheated on. But, the real question is… Can he take it?
Meanwhile, alias stories are created every single day in the hood. It is said that, A good name is better than riches!
But, that all depends upon how that good name is used; moreover, if the person using it is the person whom it belongs too. More often than not, people use alias names and stories when it appears they may be in trouble or their names have warrants attached to them. Cory Todd hustles for a living, but is an up and coming Hip-Hop artist. He comes to find that it is a good thing to know the name and information of a friend who has a clean (arrest free) background like his good friend Randy Miller. From a distance, Randy overhears Cory using his name and information as an alias to the Police, but is clueless to the fact that several other trusted friends have covertly done the same thing. But, what are friends for? A friend in need is a friend indeed!
Officer Basta Chicherone and the force of the Tampa Police Department (T.P.D.) do not feel that way; especially when several different people have used the same name, information, and address upon being arrested. Chicherone decides to investigate the matter by using the Driver’s License and Vehicular Identification Database (D.A.V.I.D.) to unfold this mystery and reveal the culprits. But, what he discovers is quite shocking! Even a fellow Police Officer will tell a lie in a situation when there’s something to gain. What’s done in the dark eventually comes to the light; that is to say, if you’re not careful! However, one good lie leads to another with no certainty of when or where it will end.
CHAPTER ONE
It’s the summer of 2008, June 7th to be exact. Michael Cassaderia is sound asleep in bed next to his fiancé, Chantel Prasad. She was wide awake and disgusted as she listened to the world renowned balladeer, R-Kelly, on the radio singing, When A Woman’s Fed Up.
She pulled and stared at her beautiful silky black hair, but immediately jerked her own hand away angry about the cost she had paid to have it styled to impress Michael and perhaps have an explosive but sensual night of passionate love making. The camisole she had on still
