    About the Author:

This book is dedicated to my loving family.

    Chapter 1 "…We can’t

    tell anyone…"

At that moment time, seemed to stand still as the three girls tried to decide if they should begin to walk on, or if they should wait to see if there was going to be more to this glorious encounter. The morning wind began to blow gently as though it were drawing the girls down the path toward school.

Listen, Casey said, We can’t tell anyone about anything that has happened yesterday or this morning. People will think we’re crazy, and they might start asking mom and dad questions. Can you imagine how dad would react to any of this?

What if the Lord continues to speak at home, and mom and dad are around? Kara asked.

We just have to trust that God is not going to put us in a dangerous position, but if we go around blabbing, then we are putting ourselves in that position.

Corrine looked at her sisters kind of sheepishly, almost as though she were just waking up from a dream. She felt lighter and more keenly aware of her surroundings than she had ever felt before. Part of her could still not believe the experience she had just had with the Angel of the Lord, but her spirit leaped inside of her, and she had a knowing that what she just encountered was more real than anything she had ever experienced.

Are you okay? Kara asked her twin. You look a little different. Kara couldn’t quite explain how her twin looked different, but she did. Maybe it was the way the sunlight caught her face at that particular moment-it was almost like a glowing, or radiance that Corrine had not had before.

I’m fine, but I do feel different. I can’t explain it; there aren’t words to describe it, just different. Corrine felt a bit frustrated in her inability to accurately convey this new and different feeling to her sisters.

    Come on, Casey said suddenly.
