      Foreword

      A principle is defined as a truth of action. Action is a deed of motion. The Apostles set in motion the name of Jesus and the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Men hazarded their lives for the name of Jesus. Multitudes were baptized in Jesus name, and received the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues. Amidst hostility, the Apostles and Elders never lost sight of preaching the Kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus.

      The Principles of Acts is dedicated to holy people who maintain holy acts in their daily walk. As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus The Lord, so walk ye in Him.....

      Dear Lord, bless the readers and doers of your principles as recorded in the book of Acts. Enrich the lives of your Holy People as they walk in you.

      IN JESUS NAME

      Acts was written by Luke. Luke was not one of the twelve disciples, but he had perfect understanding of all things from the first, and wrote two books of the Bible. Luke and Acts are two books that demonstrate the action of Christ and his disciples. In Luke, the disciples are eyewitnesses of signs, and wonders, and miracles. In Acts, the disciples are noted as Apostles, which means sent forth. The Apostles were sent forth to declare the name of Jesus and empowerment of the Holy Ghost.

      CHAPTER 1

      The Apostles wait at Jerusalem for Holy Ghost power. Jesus had instructed the Apostles to wait for the promise of the Father. Jesus was seen for forty days by many witnesses as infallible proof of his resurrection. Many witnesses saw the ascension of Jesus Christ. There were
