Jen Crowley agrees under those conditions. Kitty Piiper discusses it with her Mommy. She is very interested in helping out and said she would collect money from the townies to pay for it. Kitty Piper next goes to Ashley's school and invites Ashley's classmates to the party. They said they would all come. Meanwhile, tickets are very rare for this extremely popular young man's concerts. Harlan, a friend, suggests Kitty Piper's Mom try the internet. She does and finds out the tickets are sold out. Kitty Piper Mom telephones Mrs. Chancellor, a very well connected in town. and asks her if she can get them tickets. Kitty Piper and Harlan go to visit Joe Crowley, Ashley's father, and ask him to come to the party. After much arm twisting, he said he will. Harlan drives them back to town and lets Kitty Piper off at the Pizza Corner where she orders food. On the day of the party, Harlan brings Ashley home after a day of apple picking. Ashley is so happy to see everyone waiting and wishing her a Happy Birthday. There is much merriment. Joe Crowley shows up and Ashley is beside herself that her Dad came. After the dancing, singing and eating, Ashley opens all of her gifts and thanks everyone for them. Later, Jen suggests they go for a ride. A limo drives up and takes them to the concert. It's a day that Ashley will never forget. This loving book is for kids from the ages of six upwards. Adults will enjoy it too. The author suggests coloring the pictures. PICKING APPLES

My name is Kitty Piper. I introduced myself in Kitty Piper, Angel Cat, Book 1. I was sent to Earth by God to help as many people as I could. It doesn’t matter if what I do here on Earth is considered to be a big thing, or not, what matters is that I can be helpful to someone. Or, I can do something, which will make someone happy. Incidentally, I have been on Earth many different times in diverse lifetimes. Each lifetime has thought me something. I am able to speak as a human, and God has taught me all the languages of the Universe.

I usually awaken bright and early in the morning. I just sit in my room and think about what good things the day will bring. I listen to hear if Zipush is making any noises. He is a large turtle, which Eric and Kathleen, told me I could keep until their new house was built. They are newlyweds; Kathleen is a Venusian who came to our little town to find her Beloved. That Beloved partner turned out to be Eric Holmes. Zipush, the turtle, travels at a fast speed like a jet plane and can get me anywhere faster than a car. I am preparing myself to the fact that Zipush will leave Mommy and me to go live with Eric and Kathleen when their new house is completed.

I heard Audrey’s voice out-of-doors calling me in kitty talk. Wow, I thought to myself, she certainly is up early. I wonder if she ate her breakfast yet. If she hadn’t, Mommy would invite her to join us. I ran outside through my kitty door and asked Audrey why she was up so early. Audrey, a tiger kitty, is my first best friend. I consider Zipush my second best friend.

Kitty Piper, I couldn’t sleep last night. I want to ask you a question.

"What is it, Audrey? I asked in anxious tones.

It’s Mom, Kitty Piper! She’s acting funny. Audrey sat down, and I sat down near her. What do you mean, Audrey? I knew what was coming. I loved Audrey very much, and didn’t want her to be unhappy.

I really think she wants to bring another cat to our house, Kitty Piper! I don’t want another cat in our house! What should I do? Audrey began crying.

What makes you think she wants to bring in another cat, Audrey? I thought I convinced you that your Mom loves you. You are her whole life, Audrey, you should know that by now. I said it calmly, in a caring manner. It was the truth!

Before I went to bed, I looked on the living room table, and there was a magazine with kitties on the cover. Audrey continued weeping and she began shaking.

That doesn’t mean anything, Audrey, maybe your mom was looking for something in the magazine to buy for you? I wanted her to believe me. Audrey, if your Mom was going to bring in another cat, she would have told you and me, and Mommy. I was emphatic, hoping it would sink in. I never in a million years believed Angela Brown would go to the MSPCA and bring home another kitty without telling anyone.

Kitty Piper, I hope you’re right. I love my Mom so much. I would hate to think that I did something she didn’t like. Audrey was still crying.

Of course you didn’t do anything! You should know that, Audrey! Your Mom, Angela, loves you. She loves you! I think I quieted Audrey down, at least for now. I continued, listen, have you had your breakfast yet?

Yes! Audrey answered as though food didn’t matter to her right now.

Well, then, why don’t you play until Zipush and I eat? Then, maybe we can go over to Harlan’s, okay? I asked her gently.

That sounds good, Kitty Piper! Audrey seemed relieved and was looking forward to going to Harlan’s. Harlan was an elderly man everyone in town loved.

Okay, then, I won’t be long! Mommy is up already, so she probably has my food and Zipush’s ready. Zipush and I will be back in a flash, Audrey. She seemed in better spirits. As I ran back to the house I wondered what I could do to convince Audrey that her Mom was not going to adopt another kitty. I went to the garage and Mommy fed Zipush.
