Blue Ribbon Series Book I
()
About this ebook
The many styles of poems will tailor its way to fit one and all. As difficult as it is for authors to please one and all, I've found a way. For the most part, I've been a people person all my life so giving it up wasn't a hard task.
Enjoy all three books and share your favorites with others and the ones you love.
C Success Davis
I'm born and raised in the Bay Area. I attended school in Oakland, California. During my teens, I went from the golden states to the frozen states. I enjoy sports, women, children and traveling, Miami beaches, restaurants and laughing. I, C. Success Davis, am currently into Urban books as well. In fact, it's one done and three being ran off by AuthorHouse Publishing. It's a must that you read some whether you're a a first timer or an experienced reader of Urban books.

Chess Play
Mind eye, I see the piece move before your touch,
you might play better if you just didn’t rush
My eyes hurt to see a good play go bad,
but what’s really worse is your castling is sad.
What I’m seeing clearly is a weak attack and blunder,
Now look at you push pawn while your mind just wonder.
I see its only seconds until its batter, batter up,
you’re trying to read the lay as to never get a lump.
You’re worried about the business because of your back row,
you might just win the game, because I’m writing very slow.
Without a doubt you’re cautious playing like brother Bu,
I look at your next move and say what are you going to do?
I’m writing as I play you which just could be my neck,
while you’re stuck in the corner and now here comes my check.

Where Are You
"Hot fun in the summer time, oh boy oh boy,
can I bring it Mom, just one little toy"
The look in his eyes where excitement not pity,
and they were going out camping, outside the big city.
"yes Jammie you can just don’t make no trouble,
so when I call you from play, come out on the double."
"I love you Mom, I really do,
when you call me, I’ll come to you."
The time had come when she made her call,
but he could not hear her, playing and all
With snakes about, she started to run,
while she knew in her heart, this was no fun.
She seen a kite high and followed the string down,
to find her son out playing around
He had on a walkman and was shaking his head
she knew he couldn’t hear her, or fell her dread
She hugged and kissed him, over again,
then signal its time, to come right on in.

Poetic Justice
Poetic justice Is it Janet’s, or mine,
well whatever it is she’s a diva divine.
the words of a poet, is down in his soul,
in a heart shaped like a wheel ready to roll.
The felling of it all, is yes God sent,
but to those that don’t see is like it was meant.
Play hookie if you may, I’ll seal my own deal,
while you skip it lay and don’t keep it real.

Ranch Hand
Down on the prairie in the bite of the dust,
there’s no Sun God at night, to ease us through,
just the one God for me and you.

Lighten Up
Whatever do you mean when you say lighten up,
I’m out for my gold and climbing the hump
Your expectations just might not suit me,
‘cause I am a boss and won’t let you use thee,
I challenged me daily to up lift my plan,
‘cause I’m feeling myself, if you must understand.
Picture me flying real high over clouds,
in my private jet, just feeling proud.
it’s not too late, in America it seems,
but to sleeping minds, it’s yes
