    About The Author

It was six years ago when I started to attempt to write. And it’s been over twenty years to get the guts and courage to decide that it is now the time. It took quite awhile to arrange this material and deliver it to the public in whole and in truth. So it came to me the best way would be by means of short autobiography. It took over twenty years for me to gather and collect rational facts which in my spare time being transient or should I say homeless from state to state I made serious use of public libraries information available to me. The information gave me knowledge wisdom and understanding that opened doors to my rationality and my belief to believe the unbelievable. Real Live Drama is my story in three parts from a child to an adult and a amazing unbelievable truth that turned my life and lifestyle around 180 degree to this day and how I should deal with this truth from this day on. My acknowledgements goes out to any and all the books I have read that enlightened me and gave me reason to believe and have helped me cope with my real live drama. Books: The holy Bible National Geographic(1977) standard textbook of Cosmetology numerous editions of Encyclopedias and Dictionaries the life and times of Cleopatra of Grass and Snow numerous books about ancient Egyptian History Blackstone Rangers Folks and People the autobiography of Henry Ford(large print) history and Geology of the Barksdale family and the Black family from Gangster Disciple to blueprint Growth and Development the Life and numerous other books by Robert Beck and Donald GOINES. And any others I may not have mentioned. I vowed not to leave this world without helping family or friend by not writing Real Live Drama may it end up in the honorary Library of Congress and not just resting on a bookshelf…….Dedicated to my brother Larry who could have stood a chance if he had a chance and to everybody in the family that deserve a chance and now have it.

    PART ONE

    Chapter one

In this day and age and present time in the 21st century people are explorers of their own boundaries in the sense of accepting challenges and using their talents and skills to be seen and heard so I have decided to do like wise. I was born a bastard and also out of wedlock. My mother was a Black by surname so it was and so I shall be. You know fate doesn’t discriminate and some people can be born blessed and lucky. I was gifted in one way with a good memory. I can remember back to when I was no more than two or three my reason for saying this is because my mother told me that when my brother was born she had to stay in the hospital for awhile and that my brother had a nurse that stayed with us. I remember I used to climb from the baby bed up the front of a bi- level chester draw to the top and spring off into the baby bed. And a lady wearing a nurse uniform would come in the room talk to me laughing with me and tucking me in bed and until mama told me different I thought that was mama. I am my mother’s oldest son it was my two oldest sisters myself and my brother. I never actually met my sisters but I do recall being six or seven one Christmas EVE my mother made a call and called me to the phone. I talked with one of my sisters that was the first and only time. I was a fairly happy and bright four year old kid poor but happy. We lived in a big brick apartment building that was half a block long with three floors with two front apartments and two rear apartments on each floor with the garbage rooms in the basement of each section. This was the late 50’s and 60’s mischief had started to keep me and my brother company from time to time . I was smart in a way that mama would send me to the Ma and POP store at four years old by myself. The store was a straight walk from the corner of our building yeah a straight four or five blocks if I had to go to the Greek store they were Nick and Tony and as soon as I would come through the door they would say hi ! Sugarman what do you want today they’d give me what I came for and make sure I would head back in the right direction and I would have to walk one more corner to the busy intersection which was
