About this ebook

The world is at war with an invisible enemy. We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against the rulers of darkness. Principalities and powerful ideologies have created a monster of sorts. Terrorism and wanton hate for humanity are rooted in the doctrines of demons. Men have fought and died to win the right to justify their sins, while entire nations lay bare in the indignity of utter ruin. These are the reality in which we live but the question which needs to be answered is why.

This book is based on the simple truth that so many different teachings and philosophies can not be all true. While some truth may exist, they cannot be all correct. This book points us to Jesus and directs us back to the foot of the cross. The way of the cross leads us home to a quiet place of solace. Only love can change a bitter heart. No amount of teaching can make one wise. This book is loaded with simple stories with deep meaning. Hate will not prevail against the Church of the living God! This book was written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. God has anointed me to share His love with the American People, who for too long has been lied to and taken advantage of by false teachers who were not ordained by the Holy Spirit to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

This book was written for the pleasure of reading. Anyone who begins to read, will not be able to put it down until he or she is finished. It is written in plain language with the absence of vulgarity or negative undertones. All the accounts expressed are true. This book is not fictional. Be objective while you read!

    Introduction

Burning the Flags of Extremism, takes an introspective look into the world of men who are stained with the blood of others who are deemed to be inferior: men who believe that destiny lies in their ability to rid the earth of those who are made by a lesser god, those who are not fit to be among the children of men. This book offers literary criticism of the highest level for those who have lived a life of hate. Wasted years will be the cry of many, whose eyes will be open by the truths that are written in this book. It was written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and anyone who reads, will find a door to the only One that can satisfy the soul.

Everyone has an opinion of the world in which we live. Our perceptions are coined from the realities which life presents us, but few ever question the deep issues of our existence. Why am I here? Are we pockets of thoughts, existing in a space-time continuum or are we for real? If we are tangible entities, how are we here? Is truth based on individual reality or is reality based on truth? If truth exists, where is it found and who is the gate-keeper? If we came through an equal gate, why do we look different?

One of the major themes of this book is the fact that Mankind, in it`s endeavor to answer some of these questions, has managed to create truth based on collective perceptions. Unfortunately, truth based on perception is far removed from reality. One does not have to agree with truth for it to exist. Extremists and Fanatical Ideologues have carved out truths from their perception of reality and artificially translate them into codes of practice, laws and eventually, religion. For a single believer, this is his choice, but the sad reality comes to life when blood is shed to enforce ‘truth’, created by one man.

This book also highlights the fact that truth, outside of the confines of modesty, can have dire consequences. Today we live in the world of Ideological warfare. The battle rages on in our head, between opposing sides of each argument. When these inner thoughts are translated into religion, we sometimes are driven to extremes. Men have destroyed countless numbers of non-believers out of zeal and regard for the ‘faith’ that they have embraced. In this context, religion becomes a snare rather than a fountain of positive vibes: a mill stone tied around the bearer`s neck.

Race, skin shade, ethnic origin, social class, political affiliation and gender are some of the lines which divide Mankind. The average man is afraid of what he is not able to identify with. Misunderstanding turns into fear, which eventually turns to violent hate. At this point, Carnal Man seeks to destroy his brother and rid him of his existence on earth. Our world today is more divided than ever. Will we ever improve? Love is the only answer. But love and truth are brothers of the same father, peace and joy are siblings too ; but these can only be found at the foot of a dead man`s cross.

Theme 1: The argument against Extremism

    Chapter 1

Terrorism: A threat to world peace

May the undertaker bury you, your table and your body

    Iranian President, Mahmood Ahmadinejad

Burning the flags of evil men whose souls is consumed by the blood of innocence. Men whose name is blotted out of the book of life. Men who have no portion in things that exist or things to come. Merciless marauders who walk the earth creating mayhem, chaos and fatherless children, men who should never have been born.

Worthless beasts who blow up babies, churches and clinics. Jackals who spread sickening lies about things that never were or will ever be. Men who have no part with God, men who refuse to love, men who refuse to learn, men who refuse to see that they will be suddenly destroyed.

The God who created us all will one day rid the world of evil men. He whose eyes can outshine the sun, searches the hearts of men. On the day of his righteous indignation the earth will burn as an oven. The thoughts of evil men will be no more for death and hell will be swallowed up in victory and the saints of god will live on this earth once more.

Terrorism is the popular weapon of choice among extremists. They almost always resort to a systematic use of terror as a means of coercion, threat or law enforcement. In this new age the enemy of man is no longer visible to the human eye. Marching armies with guns, tanks and planes is no longer the order of the day. The fight is with an enemy that is too afraid to show his face. One whose acts of cowardice are intended to create fear, destroy lives and target the liberty and safety of individuals, economies and organizations ; for the purpose of achieving religious, political or ideological goals.

Often politically or emotionally charged with the will and determination to delegitimize their victims; their evil is centered in what they do. Their main aim is to destroy. Many scholars share the view that extremism is neither a tactic, method, nor a philosophy but a pathological illness that feeds on the destruction of life, freedom and liberty.

Through acts of violence they enforce the will of the greater society, though often denying the use of violence. Phraseologies such as It was an act of God or We did it on behalf of the people, often are used as an excuse for their cowardly acts. After the 911 bombing of the world trade center it was reported that terror mastermind Osama bin laden flatly denied that he was involved even as the evidence points to him.

At times individual extremists tend to be motivated by a desire for social solidarity with other members of their social system. When this happens, individual actions are taken by lone gun men or suicide bombers to the pleasing of all who support those actions. In the case of the sniper James Earl Ray, It is believed that he acted all on his own but was assisted by supporters as he attempted to escape the long arm of the law. He knew that his efforts would please many Americans who have not yet mustered the courage to destroy the great man. And in his desire for social solidarity with many of those with similar mind- set, he delivered the fatal blow.

Unlawful violence or terror stemmed from a French word(La Terreur) commonly used during the reign of terror which lasted from September 5,1793 until July 28, 1794 in France. Modern day extremists who carry out regular acts of terror include : Suicide bombers, Nazis, communists, Klansmen, Vigilantes, homophobes, religious fanatics and cyber spies. Like no other time in History, terrorism has forged its way into our consciousness. Men`s hearts are failing them for fear as the moral state of mankind is reduced to senselessness and base savagery. There seemed to be no end to the mayhem and blood shed caused by extremists and the silent majority of those who seemed to ignore their actions in the name of peace.

    A Trail of blood

History has recorded a trail of blood, left behind by scores of extremist radicals over a period of many Centuries. A few of these acts include:

    • Hassan-i-Sabbah who founded the terror group hashshashin in A.D. 1090 which murdered many innocent people.

    • Narodnaya Volya who assinated Alexander II, Tsar of Russia in 1881.

    • Avetis Nazarbekian, Christopher Mikaelian, and Hristo Tatarchev who helped in the destruction of the Ottoman Empire.

    • Eamonn De Velara who founded the Irish Republican Army in 1916.

    • Avraham Tehomi, Menachim Begin, Abraham Stern and Yitzak Shamir, who committed bombings and assasinations in Palestine.

    • Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt, fouded by Hassan Al-Banna in 1928,responsible for the murder of Egyptian Prime Minister Mahmud Fahmi Al-Nuqrashi in 1948.

    • ETA of Spain

    • FATAH under Yasser Arafat in 1959

    • The PLO under Yasser Arafat in 1964

    • The PFLP under Che Guevara in 1970

    • George Schoeters of Quebec ,1963

    • ASALA under Hagop Tarakchian,1975

    • Chicago police statue bombing by weathermen in 1969

    • The Italian Red Brigade under Renato Curcio

    • The Japanese Red Army

    • Tamil Tigers of Sri Lanka

    • Hezbollah underHassan Nasrallah

    • Egyptian Islamic Jihad

    • Hamas under Sheikh Ahmed Yassin

    • 911 attack on the World Trade Center, AlQaeda under Osama Bin Laden and mohammed atta.

    • Aum Shinrikyo of Japan

    • Laskar-e-Taiba of Pakistan

    • Chechnyan Separatists under Shamil Basayev, 2004

    • Jundallah under Abdolmalek

    • Timothy McVeigh of the United States of America.

Modern day extremists not only leave a trail of blood but also a list of creative ways to kill: Agro-terrorism, air craft hijacking, anti-abortion violence, bio-terrorism, car bombing, hostage taking, insurgency, kidnapping, letter bombing, illegal nuclear proliferation, paper terrorism, piracy, propaganda of the deed(violence against national monuments), proxy bombing, redemption movements, school shootings, government building bombing, suicide bombing, threats, and accusations are only a few. Evil is accompanied by many inventions.

The financing of terrorists have been developed to extreme levels of sophistication since the dawn of time. While the old ways of raising funds through charities and direct contributions is fading, terrorists have resorted to criminal activities to finance their operations. Terrorism is no longer limited to fanatics and political ideologues, petty criminals are now being involved in terrorist activities. Fraud, identity theft, art theft, jewel theft, smuggling of artifacts, human trafficking, prostitution, and drug trafficking are only a few of the crimes committed by modern extremists. Today terrorism travels on the wings of Organized Crime.
