Outside the Boundaries of Our Lives

About this ebook
Peggy Kash
I started writing poetry in high school and continued throughout my life. Some of my poems came from my own life experiences and some came from the experiences of friends and family. All of my poems reflect the "feelings" of life, both good and bad. For it is the "feelings" that carry us through life and outside the boundaries of life itself. Past the day to day living, the children, old folks, school, work, church, and into the depths of our being and hearts. That is where you will find yourself "Outside the Boundaries of Our Lives". I currently live in a small, but growing town called Winter Garden, Florida. I am married to my highschool sweetheart and have three sons, of which I am very proud. They each have wonderful wives and we also have two beautiful grandchildren.

86530923.jpgLonely Child
gyp.jpgI’ve always been a lonely child.
Wanting to be free and wild.
Keeping my spirit in chains.
Hoping someone’s love would remain.
I’ve always been a lonely child.
Wanting to be able to be myself awhile.
Wanting to fill this hole in my heart.
Wishing I could touch someone else’s heart.
I’ve learned to love myself.
To let my free spirit off the shelf.
But the hole in my heart is still there.
Wanting to know someone cares.
Maybe I’ll always be a lonely child.
Wanting to be loved for a little while.
Peace Be Still
gyp.jpgThe ocean water rushes in and out,
Tossing the shells all about.
Each wave that comes in to me,
Takes a care away to set me free.
After awhile of sitting in the sand,
I feel my Lord holding my hand.
My cares are gone; I hurt no more.
He has once again opened His door.
I rise refreshed; strength renewed.
To face tomorrow with a different view.
Waiting In Silence
gyp.jpgA rush of silence comes over me.
My ship floats quietly out at sea.
Right now it seems nothing matters.
Except for some rest I need for me.
When I feel better, I will again rise.
When I feel rested, I will open my eyes.
Then I will be able to clearly see
What God has in store for me.
The Shiny New Penny
gyp.jpgSee the child with his shiny new penny?
The choices before him are so many.
Watch how he takes his time,
To see what treasure he can find.
He savors each sight that he
