Explore your dreams;
Look beyond your eyes there is more inside.
Use your mind and start imagining.
Dreams and thoughts become imaginative seeds,
flourishing ideas. All one needs to do
Is plant them, stand firm with patience
And watch them blossom.

Earth
Imagining
I’ve heard people say
It’s a waste of time
The exploration of dreams
Not being who we are
Or seem to be.
Someone living out fantasies
Inside a dream …
Has been into, and has seen
More of life than you or I
By just …
Imagining.
Eclipse
Oh full moon so bright
Misty clouds roll in darkness
Their shadow past your face
So near they challenge your light
You have made things clear
Clouds could never take your place
You have been around for years
We lionize your presence
And have come to expect
When dark shadows cover your light
You to reappear
Oh full moon so bright
Tonight listen to my silent lips
You have proven yourself worthy
In never to have been replaced
By an eclipse.
Moonlight
At night it comes
Sneaking, looping
Above darkened clouds
With its light full and bright
Glistening , reflecting
Upon the creek below.
Amber glow exposing life
Along the creek’s bank
Possums, raccoons, muskrats
On the prowl, a mouse nosing around
Wondering what goes on
Falls victim to the talons of an owl.
Life along the creek’s bank scatters
Possums, raccoons, muskrats in flight
As darkened clouds
Finally cover the moonlight.
Aghast
If you were to fly well above the clouds
There doesn’t seem to be much left below
It all seems to evaporate
To lovers it may seem misty
As if looking down Niagara Falls.
Curves, peaks, and valleys
Without abandon of the Grand Canyon
The high and mighty waves of California
And Hawaii while surfers hold back the wall
As the ocean unfurls into its collapse.
There will be songs to sing
Words and music freshly born
Ears will listen as couples dance
Hold hands, hug, and kiss
Into the past reminisce
Tunes will always last
But when you fly well above the clouds
Your heart will pound …
And you will be held aghast.
Lovely Earth
You grow weary as days pass
You lay still, motionless
In full rotation without a rod
Aging in years as dry grass
As we await our father
And only God.
Your days are like those of years ago
When one meets another just as old
Earth my lovely earth
Resting on the shoulders of Space
Peopled in and out by the human race
Turning at a glorious pace
Earth our lovely earth
For you we were born,
Earth our lovely earth for you we shall fight
Though foreign menace may threaten
No harm
