About this ebook

What does it mean to have faith in God? Will faith do anything for me? Who is God anyway? Where is He? Is He involved, or does He care about individual people like me? Is there more than one God? How many roadways are there to God?

These are some of the questions that obviously trouble people in our technological age. This book approaches these questions with the viewpoint that the Bible is the best and final authority for answers for this life and next.

The word faith is often misused and applied where it should not be, with the result that its true meaning is missed. Saving faith is essential for the right relationship to our Creator God. Often downplayed and even ridiculed, there is nothing we can possess as we walk through this life that is so important as faith.

Faith, the right kind, strengthens confidence, helps one’s outlook, provides direction, builds good morals, and gives peace in any circumstance.

This book deals with the source of true faith, its acquisition, its value, and of special importance, its proper object. It comes with the prayer that it will be of help to its reader.

    Chapter I - Faith,

What Is It? And What It Isn’t.

Something governs your life. Is it your independence? Is it that you are unrestrained? Is it that you are unlimited by rules?
