About this ebook

Have you ever been wrong about anything?
Have you ever passionately believed in something, only to find out later that you were mistaken all along? It seems that every church teaches something different from that of the next one. They can’t all be right… but it’s very important to the Lord that we know the truth. Which church teaches it? Do any of them have the full picture? How can we know that we know that what we’ve always been taught is accurate?
The only message that Jesus brought to Earth was that of the Kingdom. It’s repeated time after time in every word that He spoke, in every book of the New Testament, and foreshadowed in every book of the Old Testament. Kingdom relationship is the entire reason that we were created, and the only reason that Jesus came to Earth, died and rose again. Yet, most Christians have never heard the message.
How can this be? Because even though it has been right in front of our faces for two thousand years, God has kept it hidden from our understanding until now. Millions have read this truth and their eyes have been opened, and their lives changed. It is for our generation to finally understand the scripture.
This book will change your theology, your heart, your mind, and your life. God has taken what we’ve always thought was Christianity and turned it upside down. He is showing the church how that we’ve had it all backwards. Pinky has the gift to articulate the mind-blowing scripture truths in an easy to read, and hard to put down revelation. You’ve always known in your heart that there has to be something more than going to church. Hold on tight… This is it!!!

Author

Apostle Pinky

CD Pinkerton is better known as Pinky; a gifted speaker, writer, teacher, author and musician who uses God’s gifts to advance the Kingdom. Pinky is a champion of the Kingdom Culture restorative and revivalist outpouring that began before the turn of the current millennium. This move of God is bringing untold thousands into a true relationship with the Father, and leading them to salvation through Christ… not through condemnation or the fear of hell; but because of God’s goodness. (John 3:17, Romans 2:4).

    Kingdom Keys

This image is of a prophetic mixed media painting on canvas that was created by Kimberly Harper. She writes:

I painted this during a season where God was showing me the depths of His love. I titled this painting ‘You’ve reached a part of me that no one else can see’. His love goes beyond logic and understanding, and unlocks the hidden places in my heart. In Him I am fully alive, always accepted, and loved unconditionally.

    Artist

My wife first saw this painting when she met the artist in Redding, California. She told Kimmie of this book, and how it had three keys as a cover image. As my wife was departing, Kimmie blessed her and our ministry by giving us the painting. It speaks volumes to us, and the image and creative force and thought behind it are the heart of this book, so there was never a question as to it being the lead image of the book.

    Foreword

The Lord woke me up at 3:00 AM last week with a word from the Psalms that He told me was for Pinky. At the time I had absolutely no idea who Pinky was, or that he was in the process of publishing a book. I had met him very briefly at the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry where my husband was attending. I was there auditing the class with him over the course of a few days. I wrote the word down that the Lord had given me, in order to give it to Pinky later in the day. As I shared the word, Pinky stood with tears streaming down his face, obviously deeply touched by the heart of a Father who loves His son and knows exactly what he needs to hear.

A few days later, Pinky called me as I was preparing to board a plane to Denmark, to ask if I would be interested in reading his book and possibly writing the foreword to it. I was quite surprised and honored that he would ask, and agreed to read it and pray about writing this foreword.

As I read, I became more and more impressed with the wisdom, the insight and quite frankly the controversy of it. I LOVE it! Pinky challenges us, as the body of Christ, to allow the Holy Spirit to remove the blinds from our eyes and reveal His truth to us. A challenge to look beyond our church, family and social culture; to view the reality of the Kingdom Culture that God so desires to reveal to us today. I am reminded of the passage in 2 Corinthians 3:18 "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit." Within these pages, Pinky has expressed a revelation of the true heart of the Father, which has the potential to take us from what glory that we have known into more glory and greater freedom in our relationship with God, and to lead us into truly becoming more like Jesus.

This book reveals the heart of a Father who is passionate about His children, and aching to reveal Himself to them and bring them into their true identity. Pinky writes of a Father that longs to pour out a love that brings healing and freedom from the pain of legalistic religion, and draws believers into their destiny as children of the living God.

This book is for everyone who wants more of God and more of His power at work in their lives. This book is for those who want more of God and less of religion. This book is for the hungry ones who know that there has to be more to Christianity than what they see and live every day, but don’t know exactly what that more is, or how to find it. This book is for those who think they have enough of God already, and don’t see what the big deal is. I challenge you to read this book through to the end. If you only open your heart enough to ask God to show you His Kingdom, this book will guide you down the road that will allow Him the freedom to reveal His will to you. Let Him take you from glory to glory. Jesus said that we would do greater things than He did when He walked the earth. You have a destiny in God that is waiting to be unfolded! There is always more!

I leave you with this word that the Lord gave me for Pinky. Why? Because it reveals the heart of a Father who loves His son enough to wake a stranger at 3:00 am in order to tell Him so. He would do it for you as well, and I pray that it will minister to your heart as it ministered to Pinky’s.

    Pinky,

The Lord, your rock and your redeemer says: "The words of your mouth and the meditation of your heart are pleasing in my site. You are the apple of my eye and my son in whom I delight. The heavens shake as I rejoice over you! I am bringing you into your inheritance. I see the desires of your heart and they are in line with the inheritances that I will give you. I will pour out on you rich blessings beyond what you have asked or imagined! You were created for splendor! Nothing less! How my heart leaps with the knowledge of all that I have to lavish on you, my beloved son in whom I am well pleased.

    Preface

Christians who are hungry for the heart of God are tired of playing church. Like the true worshippers that were mixed among the Pharisees, they know in their hearts that there is more to service than programs, more to church than boring sermons, and more to life than the emptiness that they feel inside. They have cried out to God unceasingly for answers, and God has heard the desires of their hearts.

The answer has been in front of our faces and under our noses for millennia, on every page of the Bible, but God has kept it hidden away for us for such a time as this. God showed me the Kingdom revelation during the Jesus People movement of the 1970s, but it was not in His time to reveal it to the church.

That time has now come. Christians around the world are experiencing the revelation of the Kingdom. Because of the name Kingdom Hall that is used by Jehovah’s Witnesses for their place of worship, some have confused Kingdom teachings as associated with them. It is not in the least. The Kingdom message comes directly from the teachings of Jesus Christ. The church has had everything backwards, and God is now turning her around and starting to prepare His bride. All of hell is quaking at Kingdom revelation, and all of Heaven is pouring out into the Earth. Jesus taught us to pray Thy Kingdom come, and we are now seeing it come to pass.

You now hold in your hands the mystery of the ages, the reason for our existence, the explanation as to how the apostles were able to go from despair and doubt at the death of their teacher, to the boldness of conviction that they gave their lives for. You now hold in your hands the answers to the questions of mankind, for you are now holding the keys to the Kingdom. Prepare to enter a world that you have never before imagined.

    Introduction

Have you ever been wrong about anything?

Think about this for a moment. Have you ever passionately believed in something, only to find out later that you were mistaken all along? How about a relationship? How about a love interest? Have you ever been in a relationship that you believed to be true, only to be hurt or to find out that you had been lied to? How passionately did you love? How deeply did you believe in the relationship, only to learn later that it was a lie? The reason that I’m asking such questions is to begin a process that requires you to think. It will continue throughout the book. This book is about many things. It’s about God. It’s about Christianity. It’s about religion and relationships, truth and doctrine, love and hate; but the one thing that it’s not about is an attempt to try to tell you what to think.

From a very early age, we are all told what to think by our parents. Once we start school, the teacher tells us the answers to the questions that we don’t know, and we accept them. Even as we grow older and move into high school, and then perhaps on to college; we assume that the teacher is knowledgeable about the subject. Therefore, when the teacher tells us what to think about a particular set of rules or circumstances, we assume that he or she has the knowledge about that subject, and so we accumulate our knowledge.

As we grow older and enter into adulthood, we might choose a job. On the job, the boss tells us how things work and how we are to work with and around those things. Whether we watch a talk show on TV, or read a self-help book, most sources of information in the world try to persuade us or to tell us what to think. Most people who write, speak or communicate with others in some way do so because they have knowledge on a particular subject that they want to share with others. You can easily understand then, that it only makes sense for a writer or speaker who wants to convey his or her knowledge and/or sentiments in a book or speech, to attempt to tell you what they know. The emphasis is on their thoughts about a particular subject. They have assumedly studied the subject, and have come to their own conclusions about it. Their ultimate goal is to explain to you what they think or believe, in an effort to get you to think or believe the same thing.

Of itself, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. It’s not necessarily a bad thing to teach children what to think. The point I’m making however, is that our entire lives are spent being told what to think. The goal of this book is not to tell you what to think about any subject that is included. Instead, it’s my goal to show you how to think. As you read further along in this book, you’ll discover that I don’t say Here is what I believe, and then try to put forth the arguments to convince you to believe it also. Instead, I have developed a knack for quoting Scripture, and making statements and observations that require you to think about the possible outcomes, and make some of your own decisions. I have found that, at least for my own way of learning, once I can put two and two together and draw my own conclusion; I’m not only happier and more confident with the resultant, but it stays with me longer than if somebody simply tells me what they believe the answer to be.

Please don’t misunderstand me. I am not trying to insinuate in the least that you don’t know how to think for yourself. I don’t believe for a moment that I have a higher intellect or a deeper understanding that I have to impart into you somehow. I’m simply stating a fact about our acquired knowledge. Once you think about it, you realize that a lot of our knowledge has been obtained from people telling us what to think. It’s a truth that you’ve always known subconsciously. I’m only putting it into words to focus it into consciousness.

The point is not that you don’t know how to think for yourself... of course you do. It’s my intention though, to cause you to start consciously thinking about many things that you might already know to be true in your heart that have not quite yet worked their way into the head. If you apply the concepts of this book, your life will be transformed and changed for the better in ways that you can never imagine right now. I realize the magnitude of that statement, and I promise you that it’s not made lightly or with frivolity; for within the words of this book hang the keys to the Kingdom.

    How to read this book

The very first time that you read this book, read through it from beginning to end without skipping around the chapters to read one that sounds more appealing to you. The book has been carefully and thoughtfully laid out with chapters in a particular order for a very specific reason. The chapters slowly build precept upon precept, and none should be skipped over; as that would only create confusion upon reading future chapters. At times I will ask you to perform a task. I do so for a reason, and it’s important for your journey down this path that you complete the tasks. Also, most chapters have been deliberately kept relatively short. I realize that many don’t like to read books in this day of instant electronic communication, and those who do read do not have a lot of time to do so. It would be my suggestion to read no more than one chapter and then walk away from the book for a time to think about, pray about and research what you just read. There are going to be chapters that will be challenging to you, as some may cause you to rethink things that you have always believed to be true.

Remember that many who lived in medieval times thought the world to be flat. They might have believed so with a passion, and argued their belief to the point of exhaustion. Nevertheless, no matter how passionately they believed... they were wrong. This should go to show you that it doesn’t matter how many people believe something is true, or how passionately they believe it. If it’s not true, even a deeply held fanatical belief
