About this ebook

All around us we see a world of paradox: deep ironic, and intractable. A world in which the hungry nations export food; the richest nations slip into demoralizing economic recessions; the strongest nations go to war against the smallest and weakest and are unable to win; a world in which revolutions against tyrannical systems themselves become tyrannies. In human affairs, celebrities receive still more publicity because of their knowledge of affairs only to find themselves cut off from the sources of their knowledgeable in warfare find themselves advising the government on how to win wars by using scientific knowledge....
the list is endless. Ours is a world of paradox. "John Gall"

This literature was written after a long process of learning to think like a great achiever and get myself out of a non-achiever poverty mindset. Today, many American are wondering if we are headed toward a poverty driven way of living. Therefore, people are repositioning themselves for the best of times or the worst of times.

As a result, the creative framework of this literature is a beginning for us to build a new mindset and reach worthwhile goals for ourselves and our communities. This book offers a systematic approach to creating a framework for organizational structure and development. This will clarify objectives for many to fulfill their mission toward their own people. Most change hungry people can grasp the important points within the text. Hopefully, at that point they gain well-timed information regarding the reality of faith. They enter into a thought-out dialogue with the writer.
The mission of this book is to help bring restoration to a Nation whose Faith is At-Risk, as well as look at our economy from a spiritual perspective. With every pocket of the earth overflowing with abuses, poverty, gang violence, at risk youths, prostitution, homelessness, domestic violence, addictions, murders, suicides, fatherless children, and corruption. This is not to mention sudden death of some well known people due to careless living. They face sudden death with seemingly no regard or thought of the eternal consequences of the way they lived their lives.

In an effort to carve a way for my creativity in this world of chaos and insecurities, I have learned to channel my energy into dreams and goals. This is partially how this book was born, A Nations Faith At-Risk and a Spiritual Perspective of the Economy. It is the result of a burning passion to reach the masses with the truth.

Michele Watson

Michele Watson was born in Jacksonville, Florida on March 14, 1962. She obtained degrees in Data Processing, Programming, Business Administration and a Bachelor Degree in Biblical Education with a minor in Urban Studies. She is now pursuing a Masters in Divinity and Education. Through her accomplishments and efforts, Michele Watson has positioned herself as a pillar in the community. Through her vision as an inspiring leader, she has become CEO/Founder of the Sacred House Bookstore LLC; and the Sacred House Community Development Center. She has twenty-nine years of experience in organizational leadership, deliverance, speaking, writing and teaching. She authored the book, “Surrender to God for Real,” and more are in the making. She seeks to speak to the hearts, minds and souls of cultures worldwide. Michele loves sharing the grace and wisdom of God. It is through her gift of writing that she hopes to educate, and empower others to have a desire to fulfill their destiny and purpose. Through her experience at Beulah Heights University, she had the opportunity to explore the cultural diversities among the students and faculty. From this experience, she learned there could be unity within multi-cultural communities. Among the many people who visit the campus every day, she found a community of believers. Within this community, she met servants of the five-fold ministry; apostles, teachers, prophets, evangelists, and pastors. Everyone had come to BHU seeking the truth and knowledge about God. In their seeking, they found a new level in Him, as well as what did was required of them as His servants. From the various cultures, Michele learned that many seek Jesus the Christ, our Lord. She found herself honored chosen by God to go out into the utter most parts of the world to teach, love, hope and faith. As Michele experienced connection with International Christians, she came to understand the needs of other countries and have compassion for the people. BHU’s International day offered American students the opportunity to mingle and taste foods from other cultures. Natives wore their native attire, very colorful and festive. There were people from Kenya, Korea, Congo, Jamaica, Mali, and many more. BHU is unique among other universities in this way. She was able to build a relationship with a young woman by the name of Darlene George from Haiti. Darlene wore the same size clothing as Michele’s 24-year-old daughter, and made a gift to her of suits, dress, handbags and shoes. Michele began to mentor Darlene and they shared faith with one another. Because of their relationship, Darlene was able to send clothing back to her country. She believed her calling was teaching and clothing the naked. Every culture on campus went through their own forms of hardship, warfare, sickness, pain, tears and financial burdens. The one thing that BHU taught us was to pray for one other and our nations. This brought a greater awareness to all of us, with the hunger to evangelize and bring salvation to other counties. One Saturday night Michele witnessed her younger brother, Eric complaining about the challenges of life in general and blaming everyone, including his family. She heard the unhappiness in his voice. She began to tell him that man could not accomplish anything on this earth without the help of God. Men cannot do things in their own reasoning and manipulations. She explained to her younger brother that the ultimate fulfillment is living out the plan that God has for our lives. In order to know God’s will for our lives, we look within our own souls, and rush to study the characteristics of Jesus Christ. We must forgive each other, because we are all born under sin. Her testimony to him was, “I myself have been through some major trials in life, but His love and power keep me. That is why I follow Him.” The only way she would be able to finish the race is to maintain an honest and open relationship with the Father. Michele Watson understands she has an Apostolic anointing on her life. This has led her to continue to pursue an education. She believes strongly in education because of the changes it has made in her life. Studying requires a great sacrifice and many, many days, nights and hours of sacrifice. Becoming, a great leader comes with a high price tag, it is not easy, it is one defining moment after another, but change does come in due season. A Word from the Author

Throughout the course of our lives, we watched unforeseen circumstance and events take place that are beyond our control. If the recent oil spill disaster dumping millions of gallon of crude throughout the Gulf of Mexico, spreading million of mile across the waves and ocean floors: was not enough to shake our faith, then, think on these thoughts!

We see the greed and selfness of others. We see successful men and women benefit from the hard labor of others, some not deserving.

We watched Middle Class American go from having something to having nothing, living a life that they once thought was prosperous and now many are experiencing a new kind of poverty called middle class on welfare.

We watched our community go from healthy, built structured homes to abandoned and boarded homes, which have gone down in value.

We watched our nation go from solid infrastructure to no structures, leaving its streets filled with death, homelessness, and helpless people.

A recent 8.0 earthquake shook the nation of Chile’s very foundation, killing an estimated 176 people and creating loss of $65 million. Twenty-five miner workers killed recently in the Upper Big Branch mine in West Virginia.

Many public schools are closing, because of budget cutback throughout our nation. As a result hundreds of thousands teacher are be laid off from work.

One disaster after another, causing people to question whether there is an answer. People are in a desperate search for knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and truth. Many caught in nets of fear, doubt, and frustration within their minds, as it relates to the devastations happen in the world today. People do not know when, where, why who in addition, to what to do next.

Where are the great achievers of this present world? What purpose are they called to fulfill within the earth? By the time, you finish reading this book; you will be awaking to the need of great achievers in three places (1) the churches (2) the governments and (3) the household markets.

In that same breath, ask yourself, are you one of the great achievers the world is seeking. How you would like people to be remembered you once you depart this earth?

I hope that you will be remembered a good servant. As that of the late great Edward Kennedy (1932-2009) He was known as the liberals’ lion, one who was a steadfast, forerunner of progressive causes. Edward Kennedy carried the mantle that pushed universal health care forward. President Barrack Obama kept this mantle alive in reference to the health care bill. Edward Kennedy and his staff wrote hundreds of other bills, which were imparted into law. Now the world celebrates his accomplishments after he is gone. It was stated, by his wife; Virginia Joan Kennedy in a recent article that, The beauties were close to his heart."

With that in mind, hopefully, the media will be free to record you as a legend a king of pop or historical figure. Perhaps remember you as a humanitarian, or a philanthropist. People who achieve great things in life, for the most part, have crowds of followers.

Someday, we all must face a physical death. Nevertheless, before we exit, what can we do that is significant and radical, yet brings transformation to a community of people whose Faith is At Risk?

The mission of this book is to help bring restoration to a Nation whose Faith is At-Risk. Look at our economy from a spiritual perspective. Then, define the greatest achievers within the spectrum of Faith. We have no choice but seek the ones who God has called, chosen, and predestined for this generation of people.

We have indeed been a rebellious nation, doing as we please, creating homemade laws governed by our non-achievers.

Every pocket of the earth is overflowing with earthquakes, tsunamis, fires, floods, abuses, poverty, gang violence, at risk youth, prostitution, homelessness, drugs, domestic violence, addiction, murder, single parent homes, suicide, fatherless children, and political corruption.

This is not to mention the sudden death of some well-known people due to careless living. They faced imminent death with seemingly no regard or thought of the eternal consequences of the way they lived their lives. Most recently, a 7.0 earthquake bashed the country of Haiti destroying land, buildings and killing at least 250,000 of Haiti’s people.

Another 250,000 people are either missing or suffering injuries. These were reports of the American Red Cross and CNN News. Did you watch the thousands of unidentified bodies dumped for waste?

Many lives sacrificed for the renewing and liberty of Haiti. People of faith from all lifestyles have joined forces to give Haiti hope.

These people of faith come from communities, businesses, governments, households, traveling several miles. They have risen to a common cause, and the needs of the Haiti: a nation whose faith is at-risk. From a global perspective and spiritual perspective, the nation’s faith been tested once again.

Millions upon millions of people have responded with the offering of financial contributions, food supplies, clothing, medical supplies and more. Having the compassion in my heart, sending toys for tots, boys and girls clothing seems to be the right thing to do.

Presidents, famous people, celebrities, and leaders have come together offering their wisdom and advice. Nurses, doctors, police officers, community workers and military groups have come together to offer their time, talents, gifts, and abilities to serve. The ability to have the compassion to serve lies deep within the human heart. A winning attitude is the initial sign of compassion.

Many great achievers and community builders are among the people who are traveling down a broken path in hopes of bringing restoration to Haiti. Great resources discovered in Haiti because of the earthquake. These resources are the world largest caught of seafood such as large shrimp and crab, which is enough to feed an entire family. My prayer for every reader is that you no longer sit on the sidelines as a non-achiever. But take advantage of every, moment, opportunity, risk, rain, and paradigm shifting moment that life and its experiences have to offer in order to become a great achiever.

Many of the youth across America have fallen beneath the pavement of gravity’s darkness before the age of twenty-one. The impact of transformation is a key component to bring change to our world today.

    1. Transformation- introduced to our youth, young adults, adults, and elderly.

    2. Transformation - introduced to leaders within the households.

    3. Transformation - introduced to pastors, bishops, teachers, apostles and prophets or prophets of our churches.

    4. Transformation -introduced to the political leaders, congressional representative, police offers, fire fighters, teachers, senators, and mayors of our communities.

    5. Transformation -introduced to business owners, corporations, medical professionals, pilots, and others I did not mention in our society.

    6. Transformation- introduced to our nation within nation.

The greatest thing about transformation is that it closely related to reformation, regeneration, and reconciliation. Its outcomes can produce permanent and positive change for a better, brighter, and healthier future. With transformation, reformation, regeneration, and reconciliation properly interwoven and ingrained in the minds of our culture we can began to create a brighter and healthier future. This, of course, begins with the renewing of our own thinking and beliefs. People usually see right through insincerity, so having pure motives is a vital ingredient to helping others change.

In an effort to carve a way for creativity in this world of chaos and insecurity, one must learn to channel ones energy into dreams and goals. This is partially how this book was born. A Nation’s Faith At-Risk and a Spiritual Perspective of the Economy is the result of a burning passion to reach the masses with the truth.

However, this book is also very special to me because it fulfills a passion motivated by genuine faith. Stepping out on faith to introduce writings that are intended to be educational and a hope to be an epiphany too many.

This book was written after a long process of learning how to think like an achiever; and getting out of thinking like a non-achiever. Have you found yourself chasing a dream for so long, only to discover that you cannot fulfill the dream alone?

You may be the vision carrier, but God will send others alongside you, to help fulfill this divine assignment. Many called, but few chosen…I have traveled to many small cities to introduce this God given vision to pastors and businesspersons. To adopt the concepts, put a plan into action, and produce other great achievers within their circle of influence.

For example, I was in a small town outside of Atlanta, Georgia called Waycross teaching in an early morning seminar. An older man
