Journey of a Whispering Heart: Romantic Poetry for Lovers
()
About this ebook
This collection of contemporary romantic poetry explores the many joys and agonies of the miracle of love. It was written for lovers of all persuasions and for those who know enough to treasure love, no matter with whom it is sharedman with woman, man with man, or woman with woman. Author Jason S. Nino explores love as a human emotion, with all of its turmoil, longing, false hope, disappointment, and exuberance, from the perspective of a young mans expressive heart. When it comes to love, there is no holding back. All feelings are communicated with wondrous expression. The power of this book is in its ability to move the readers emotions through its imagery, words, and art. Jason S. Nino began writing poetry as a child and grew accustomed to putting his thoughts and emotions into his poems. He is a sensitive, imaginative, and emotional poet. He reaches into the depths of his heart, explores deeply, and utters every possible feeling that one can experience under the spell of love. This book chronicles the seasons of love from sighs and moans to screams and silence.
Jason S. Nino
Jason S. Nino pursued his passion for poetry, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing from the University of California, Riverside. Jason has written over three volumes of poetry with this work being his first published book. At the age of eighteen, Jason S. Nino was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. This was an extremely difficult time for Jason, his family, and his friends. The young man channeled everything he was experiencing into this poetry—his pain, his loneliness, his search for companionship, and his sorrow. He also chronicled his journey of love, including the highs and lows, joy, pleasures, and frustrations. Journey of a Whispering Heart is the harvest of love seasons emerging from self-exploration.

This book is dedicated to my readers, to those who have experienced the same passion, adoration, lust, anger, and loneliness that inspired me to write. Through my experiences, I have traversed from the deepest brown canyons to the highest pearl-colored cloud, and back again to the black fires of the underworld. I hope that your feelings will resonate with these emotions
Please read and enjoy.

The clouds in the sky are puddles of milk that astronauts spilled in
space.
The moon is a liar, promising to give me light, but merely stealing
it from the sun.
The rain that falls from the clouds is a leaking faucet that Zeus
forgot to tighten.
The pupils of your eyes are portals to galaxies undiscovered by
astronomers.
Your palm lines are books of literature, describing stories, wishes, and dreams.
The veins of your body are the pathway to your heart that I eagerly follow.

Sighs
"Exploring with your loved one through
the canyons of your imagination"
missing image fileSerendipity
Whether it was by fate or by chance,
I took a romantic glance,
And gazed directly into your dark mysterious eyes.
I let your essence control me.
Your heart effortlessly consoled me.
That love of yours took me by surprise.
I can say with all my heart
That it was destiny
That our lives crossed paths.
I can say with sincerity,
And I can promise with verity,
That our love would be one to last.
All I ask is but one simple request:
All I ask is for you to show me affability,
And I will do the rest.
I will take it upon myself
To treat you like the very best.
To earn your complete devotion
Would be my heart’s endless quest.
The days I see your eyes,
You capture my heart
And make my soul want to fly,
Far away from all this misery
That makes me want to sigh.
I would take you away
From all this desolation,
From all this pain,
Hand in hand with you
Is where I’ll be,
As I lay my eyes upon you,
And you bestow your lips upon me.
I have seen many faces,
And with those faces
I have seen much demise,
But when I’m with you
It’s as if nothing is standing by,
In the way of my heart,
In the path to your soul,
It’s as if we were meant to be,
Like a fairy tale waiting to be told.
To see a smile like yours
So sweet and oh so sincere,
Makes my mind want to fly away,
And rids my heart
Of my deepest fears.
Looking into your eyes
Makes me forget the horrors of my past.
The more you’re by my side,
The more I think our love can last.
And the feeling is more miraculous
Than I thought to be true,
You’re gazing at me
As much as I am gazing at you!
You look at me with admiration
As if you know how I feel.
It feels as if
You look into my heart.
It’s as if you know
We’re never going to be apart.
In times of old
When I fell in love with deceit,
I would give my heart to darkness,
And this I would incessantly repeat.
But with you my love
For what I give,
I get the same in return.
I can see it in your eyes,
Our love could be one to burn.
Forever in the sunset –
Forever in a dream –
Forever in each other’s arms –
Forever is what
