      Introduction

      The book Me and my life: Guilty without guilt or confessions of the innocent is written in a nonfiction rhyme style. I would say it is a blend of fiction and nonfiction styles, because I had to use some fictional elements, such as names of people, places, etc… in order to keep rhyming.

      This book is about an average dude, who shares his remarkable story with readers. What is more interesting: this average guy tells us unbelievable stories of people, who he was lucky to come across during his life and who shared their stories with him.

      One individual read an extract from this book then said you should read it with a highlighter in your hands, since there are so many incredible quotes, phrases, and rhymes in it that are easy to remember. I think they are easy to remember because it is written from the heart, with compassion and the intent for it to be remembered. Also, in my opinion, rhyming is what makes it easier to memorize.

      You will find a lot of philosophy, human relationships and psychology in this book as well as some jokes, funny expressions and much more. The chapters Who is strange?, Aliens, Shifted consciousness, Boomerang, and A little romance will give you a lot of thoughts, information and is like a manual for those who are eager to learn and achieve success in life. Please enjoy and be happy.

      ABOUT THE AUTHOR

      I grew up playing hockey in cold winters and playing football (soccer) in hot, but short summer weather in Siberia. In 1999 I immigrated to Canada. Broad international experience and education, as well as familiarity with different political systems helps me better understand cultural differences.

      I started writing poetry in my twenties. What influenced me to start? I do not know. Maybe it was the desire to express myself, maybe to share my point of view and opinions. I am not sure. It just kept coming to my head. While I was a kid I had to learn many subjects at school, including literature.

      Our literature teacher, Valentina Sliva, did a fabulous job. She was kind of tough on us: we had to memorize a lot of poems written by the Greatest Russian poets such as Pushkin, Mayakovski, Block, Lermontov, Yesenin and many others.

      My mom also always served as a good example for me; she wrote many different funny poems for occasions like birthdays, parties and school meetings.

      This is my second book. You can find the first one called Believe, Achieve and Forgive! No Fear, No Trust, No requests on the Internet by going to any major search engine like Google or Yahoo and search by title or author. The first book includes many different interesting poems.
