    I feel my book Gods Grace is an extension of myself. The way I feel, the way I look at things, and the way I see life. Some of the poems express sadness, others concern and others express happiness. Some of the poetry is just plain heartfelt writting. My book is a collection of religious poetry. If you like poetry please give my book a try. My hope is that my book will be enjoyable to you as you read. All the poetry is written with the Lord Jesus in mind. I love the Lord Jesus and my poetry is written with the Lords hand on my pen. Feeling all the words and phrases in my poetry, Jesus wants readers by the multitude. So his flock will grow in great numbers.

    Hopefully this book will help that happen in some small way. My hope is my poems will be uplifting to all readers. I pray that souls will be saved by the words that are written in this book. This poetry is about us ond our relationship with Jesus Christ. Read and understand our Jesus is Lord of all things God Bless You....

    My name is Connie Faith Davidson, pen name "faith"cfd. I write religious poetry. Jesus provides the words and I write them down. The poetry is strong and some are intense and some very calming. I love the Lord an am very pleased to serve him. In anyway possible. Hopefully this book will be uplifting for the readers. The poetry is very dear to my heart. I praise God for the ability to share his words. A little about me. I was born in Tocoma Park, Maryland on Feb. 26, 1959. At 5 years old we moved to Weston, WV. And that's where I was raised. At 18 I moved to a small town in Southeast VA. There I was married to my husband of 33 years in April of 1978. Edward has been and still is my soul mate and my strength. In 1990 I developed an inner ear disorder. So now I've been disabled for 21 years. Ed has been a God send. He looks after me. I bounce my poetry off him. We have a son Steven. he was born in 1980. We live a simple life and we like it that way. We love the Lord and try to live as he asks in his word. Read my book and I pray it will strengthen your walk as well. My hope and Prayer is someone will read my poems and get saved. That would be the grandess thing to happen. To help Gods flock to grow. God bless you. "faith"cfd

      We’ve come a long and tiresome way

      Nothing short of a miracle you might say

      Years of hurt and aggravation

      Still your love and motivation

      Makes me love you more you see

      With your help I’ve grown to be

      Level headed and respected

      Probably more than you expected

      Always there though far away

      Closer than ever we have stayed

      I know at times I made it rough

      You Dear Lady were always so tough

      When know one here could get through

      I knew I could call and talk to you

      You’d listen to me for ever so long

      And you learned to read me when something was wrong

      You can tell before I can say

      Lady I’m glad that it’s that way

      Sometime I’m not sure I should impose

      But I love you a lot and I suppose

      That if you didn’t love me you wouldn’t ask

      And try to break through my I’m ok mask

      Your always there when I call

      To help me up when I fall

      Numerous years you’ve been my friend

      And I know now it will never end

      You’ve been so patient kind and true

      No matter what I tried to do

      Your loves lasted longer than any I’ve known

      When I was young I was very bad

      My hostility toward you would make you mad

      You didn’t back up you didn’t walk away

      Numerous years your love has stayed

      When they hurt me as they often do

      I know I can always run to you

      No comes easier to me these days

      It’s taken some work to change my ways

      You’ve been with me through bad and good

      Giving me love my parents never could

      I thank God for you Lady and pray everyday

      I’ll never hurt you again in anyway

      I love you so deeply I really do

      But this is something you already knew

      You are so special and so strong

      I’m thankful this love has lasted so long

      I can’t say enough how much I care

      It’s so important to me to know your there

      I hope this brings a smile to you

      I’m glad the Lord has blessed me for she is good to me

      We’re far apart yet closer as the years go slipping by
