About this ebook

Generic versions of the Bible begat generic versions of Christians: If we frustrate the language of the King James Version of the Bible, we will frustrate the grace of God and the genetic codes that lead to eternal life. We ought to preach the gospel, not as our views, but as the mind of God. If we have been entrusted with the making of the gospel, we might have altered it to suit the taste of the modest century, but never having been employed to originate the good news, but merely to repeat it, we dare not stir beyond the record.

    The Forth Cross

There stands a new cross on the distant hill,

Critics are changing our Bible to conform to their will.

It stood the storms though tattered and torn,

It led us to a savior who then was born.

It led us home by the star at night,

It showed us how to make things right.

They rejected God when He came as man,

And now they’re rejecting His word again.

    Vince [1]

    Preface

Be this known to all Christians of all walks of life—color, creature, gender, and culture, "who are the called according to His purpose" [Rom 8:28]. Regardless of how high and mighty you may feel, or how holy you may presume yourself to be, the depth and/or the height of your walk with God, your principles, codes of ethics, preaching, your ministering, and your teaching spiritual of things; you will never excel in the Spirit of God any higher than your knowledge of the Word of God. Every phase of your life, of whatever style it may be, your ministry and your calling depend completely upon one majestic inspiration, one secret-code, and that is your knowledge of the Word of God. Regardless of how personally righteous you are or how godly you may proclaim yourself to be, you have no other boasts, no other claims, no other righteousness—you cannot point to the Spirit for success until you first point to the written word. There is no room for boasting concerning the knowledge of the Holy Spirit if you do not first know the Holy Scripture, and if you do not know and/or understand the written word, you do not know or understand the Holy Spirit, as the Spirit and the word agree as one. Though you can be born again of the Spirit before you acquire the knowledge of the word; however, the growth and the power of the Holy Spirit within your life depend completely on your knowledge of the written word. If you do not read the written word of God, the Holy Spirit will not mature within your life into a full-grown statue of a Christian. The written word of God is the Spirit’s life flow, and if you do not nourish the Holy Spirit with the written word, it will slowly depart from your life.

    Chapter 1

    Constitutionality

When the need for a constitution arose in this country, it was with pure and honest motives that the founding fathers of this newborn nation sought to introduce a document with flawless goals. In its design, it had to be one that would be fair and with attainable objectives, unchanging, with liberty and justice for all. However, though they accomplished a nearly perfect document, as the winds of time blew and generational ideology demands increased, the constitution was forced back to the drawing board for some unforeseen and challenging adjustments. Though they tried with untiring Christian loyalty to keep it in its original state, their efforts only proved that it was written by the hand man and not by the finger of God. And, as time went on and generations again demanded changes, amendments again had to be made to the constitution; nevertheless, though it was against the will of some, this great country, The United States of America, continued to moved forward, establishing history and making new amendments as the situation demanded.

However, with the Bible it is a different story. Though the Word of God was given to man to serve in like manner as a decree or constitution to live by, it was not written, composed, or established by man or under man’s ideology; it came to us as the oracles of God, handed down to man and written on paper and was thus passed down through the centuries as the authentic transcription of God’s Holy Word or Holy Law. Since the translation, completion, and the publication of the King James Version of the Bible in 1611, it was and still is today a masterful composition of Christian literature unparalleled to all others before. Yet, with this unparalleled transcription of God’s Word, writers of Christian literature today are continually striving to introduce a new version of this so splendid edition, one with expressions that will impart all the proper interpretations necessary to understand the gist of the many mysteries and diversified thoughts already expressed within the King James Version. Will they accomplish their goals? It will never happen. Even if they did introduce a new version of the Bible with like potentials, who among all the writers would or could make firm the assurances of all its promises? Who among them could unravel all the mysteries and bring them to light? And then, what reader trying to draw spiritual strength from a book with no eternal guarantees would feel safe intrusting his or her eternal destiny upon its words? It would be a book filled with aspirations instead of divine inspirations. I ask this question: with all due respect to the writers of these new translations, who among them will offer with their new version a new heaven? Having no heaven to tender or warranty of the hereafter would be a futile investment. After all, this is what the Bible is all about, isn’t it? Going to heaven and living forever, where there is no sickness or pain, where there is always happiness. Originators of such manuscripts should at least guarantee its promises. Nevertheless, each opponent is burning to be the first to come forth with the new super-star attraction of all times. Will they ever reach that stimulus accomplishment? And what does the Lord Jesus think about their ambitions and spiritual inventions? Perhaps if the truth were known, their ambitions would topple those who introduced the Tower of Babel. Should we re-write the King James Version of the Bible or should we just re-read it? The readers of this book will have the privilege of answering this question for themselves.

    Chapter 2

    The Written Word

To begin this chapter, I would first like to briefly describe the Stealth bomber in its construction. Though it was a long time on the drawing board going through revision after revision, nonetheless, after all the details and dominions of the designers were finally put on blueprint and locked into place, and that with reservation, the Aircraft manufacturers that build these weapon-birds were given the green light and were awarded the contract. Though as meticulous and secretive as it was, the manufacturer in turn farmed out most of the work to other companies, tributaries, and/or subsidiaries. However, throughout the process of manufacturing, it had to be understood by the subsidiaries and their craftsman’s, that each part produced must be within the detailed precision tolerance, so as when it came together, everything had to correspond perfectly with the other, as it would operate as one body or as one force of power. Being a machinist, when I saw these large fabrications and the machines that did the cutting, I understood the style of quality and the pressure these men were under to produce this David of the sky, the bird-like warrior—and what a war-bird it is; black, stealthy, prestigious, and daring as David who slipped in and killed Goliath, it can strike the enemy and be gone before they know it.

The written word of God, in like manner, was also farmed out to men who were instructed by the Holy Spirit to follow every detail carefully until it was finally finished, all the stories had to, in the approved manner, came together as one book. Every speaker, every writer, every prophecy, every Psalm; every Old Testament character that acted out any part, and every New Testament writer and character who fulfilled those prophetic sayings; each and every jot (reference) and tittle (the tiniest bit) was so meticulously spoken in precision timing that when it was finished, every detail, every character, every action, and every word, passed its final inspection without a flaw. If then the word of God was written in such refined and meticulous detail, and then placed together in such precision expressions, it can only stand to reason that it should be read in like manner; because, behind every written word there is an arsenal of hidden secrets waiting to be discovered.

We are living in a time when men are desperately seeking a smooth avenue to exchange the Holy Scriptures with unscrupulous theories of human thoughts, which will ease the pain and the guilt of sin; however, by doing so, they must realize they are tampering with the sacred codes that lead to eternal life. They would be much better off if they would tamper with the controls of the stealth bomber than to try to deface or tamper with these sacred codes, as they hold the secrets to the future of Christianity and mankind. These codes, in there settings, are set so securely by the leading of the Spirit of God, that even our Lord referred to them as the path to eternal life: He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living waters, [John 7:38]. The word river represents an unfailing supply for all.

But who was this man that was born of a virgin girl in that isolated corner of the world that everybody wants to write about? Even the disciples had their turn of opinion, and even ask him who He was. After all, He was not like most men—He did walk on the water, then walked through a crowd of people without detection. He touched people and people touched Him and healing flowed to all—strange, this man Jesus. Do you know who He was or is today? This puzzled John the apostle, but when he got it all organized into his understanding, he wrote it down in simple language and his explanation was on this wise:

"In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.

The same (this is how it) was in the beginning with God", [John 1:1, 2].

My interpretation of this scripture is on this wise: Before the beginning there was nothing but the word because the beginning had not yet started. When someone starts to do something they first have to create a beginning point, so then, the first thing that God created was the beginning or beginning point; a beginning is when something begins. So, up until the beginning there was just the word and that was all there was, and that word was God. God did not stop eternity, as per say, to start the beginning, but simply placed the beginning along side eternity as one would place a side-tract of a railroad along side the main tract. And at the present time both eternity and time is harmonizing together along side each other; however, time will eventually come to an end and eternity will then be the only place to inhabit. This change or institution of time did not cause eternity to blink as though there was a short circuit in the system when it begin; it was a smooth transition of creation just as was all other things that God created.

But back to our subject, we are talking about the word, the insertion of time, the beginning, and eternity.

John did not stop with the story of God’s creative word, he was so excited to learn by the Spirit that that same invisible creative word was now "made flesh" (made visible) just as he, and that it was now dwelling among them. And man could now look upon that same spoken word that was invisible back there in the beginning, (the beginning was when God decided to start creation) [John 1:14].

In the beginning the word was invisible—it could not be seen. It could shake a tree, rattle the ground, or move a mountain, but yet man could not see it. One of the life-size reasons that man did not trust God in the Old Testament was they could not physically see Him; however, when He came to earth to present Himself as a physical human being to take away that fear and distrust, man still was afraid to trust or believe in Him. Not being able to see God brought in the idol worshipping system which has drifted over into the days of the New Testament, and continues yet today; people want to worship something they can see, so, they get themselves idols—figurines if you please. People question the difference in the Father and the Son. In power there is no difference. The only reason for the use of the words the father and the Son is that of the difference in the substance, because the essence (the deity part) was the same. The Father had no visible substance until the Son was made, and when the Son was made, He was that substance of the Father. God used the substance of the flesh to reveal Himself to man in the New Testament, but not even did that work to bring man closer to Him. He tried using the Spirit in the Old Testament, but it did not fully work, so He tried using flesh because man was made of flesh, and surely man would want to communicate with man, but that didn’t work. When Jesus was born into this world, and Mary took that baby (Jesus) into her arms and she held Him closely and looked upon Him, for the first time ever, man (human beings) could now look into the face of God; the God that could not be seen, man could now look upon, man could now touch, man could now hold in their arms and feel with their hands the God of the Old Testament, [1 John 1:1]. "No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom (a place where expressions and emotions are held in reserve—Jesus was the expressions and emotions) of the Father, He hath declared him", [John 1:18].

You may not agree with this thought, but up until that time, angels had never seen God. Not until that night—the night Jesus was born did they look upon Him who created all things by His word. As I said above, God is a Spirit, and spirits, and angels, and God, are all invisible. You ask, how then do these invisible hosts of heaven communicate? Good question. How does the wind know where to blow? And from whence does it come and whether does it go? Yet it moves whether-so-ever it listeth. I’ll ask this question when I get up there. Meanwhile, back on earth, why did Paul make this statement when writing to his spiritual son, Timothy:

"Without controversy (without argument) great (marvelous) is the mystery (secret) of godliness: (He who is) God was manifested in the flesh, (God was) Justified in the Spirit, (God was) seen of angels, (God) preached unto the Gentiles, (God was) believed on in the world, (God was) received up into glory" [1 Tim 3:16].

This scripture is not talking about God the Son, but God Jehovah, the Almighty. If they had seen God before this time, why is it now being mentioned? Why not before this time? Reason: angels had never seen God before His birth in Bethlehem. Oh, yes, there were many manifestations of God, but a manifestation is like a shadow, they have no real form or being. But when Jesus came, He was the form (the formation-the configuration-the design-the nature) of God. The word form is not a reference to a human form, but one to the nature of God. The scripture in [Philippians 2:6] "Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to equal with God" is speaking of the nature of God, as equality is not predicated (does not apply) where there is only one. God did not have a body or a substance until Bethlehem, and then, and only then did He have a body or a substance that was physically visible and tangibly touchable. How then did the angels appear to some in the Old Testament? They did it through a metaphor or imaging system: they have the ability to appear in many types of images, yet the types were not real. Even God used this method of appearance every now and then. God appeared in
