About this ebook
Queen Ellis-Baynes
One reason I feel I'm qualified because I have been writing for 31 years. During my writing, I find that it gives my pleasure and satisfaction. I was born in Jefferson County, Birmingham, Alabama. I am a 1971 graduated of Wenohan High School, Birmingham, Alabama. Reading and writing is my favorite hobbies. It was only in 1995 that it was brought to my attention by a co-workers, Kay Little, that I was good at what wrote. She had me entering in many poetry contests which led me to compete in California with other poetry writers where I won a diamond harmony trophy for one of my poem. Over the years, I found that I could write about almost everything and anything. I'm the mother two children, one grandson, and one great-grand daughter. Now I have resides in Selma, Alabama, for the last 39 years.

Acknowledgements
First, I give praise to God.
To my family, friends and publisher: This, too, is for you.
To Rachele Haynes (Na Baby): my secretary, my left and right hand, my running partner, my love, my life, girl T-DEE,
love you
For my brother Arthur Haynes: I would have given up all my dreams a long time ago if you had not continued to tell me I’m just a step away from my breakthrough. When God was dishin’ out brothers he gave me the best one.
To my friends Sallie Watts, Louise and Melvin Arnold, Rosylen Perkins, my hairdresser Alonzia Pettway
And the last but not the least would be my publishing company (all the names of the people who worked on this book)
