About this ebook
Thomas Cole
Thomas Cole was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in a suburb nearby. His upbringing was in a fundamentalist Baptist family. He attended 4 years at their Baptist High School then attended their Baptist Bible College. An avid reader and questioner aptly describe Mr. Cole. Rather than dedicating a page to his biography in the book, the author chose to reveal much about himself throughout the book.

The saddest thing for a human being is to have a closed mind — for a closed mind is an easily fooled and controlled mind. The inability, or even worse, the unwillingness to change one’s ways when indisputable proof to the contrary is given, is humankind’s greatest fault. I have written this book with the greatest hope that enough people have open minds to save our world before it is too late! Remember: a truly wise person will always change, when proof requiring change is given.
SKU-000253735_Text.pdfCongratulations — you haven’t just merely opened another book; but rather, you have opened yourself to questions and challenges that the most learned religious experts and leaders themselves cannot respond to, or even refute. This book is the culmination of over 25 years of thought, questioning, research, and observation. For those who think they really know the Bible, Koran, or the Book of Mormon — this book will be a most challenging, and enlightening book! My background for being able to write this book is the fact that I grew up in a strict Bible-believing church and family, graduated from a Baptist High school, and attended a Bible college. I also, unlike most of you reading this, have read the entire Bible through twice, cover to cover — yes, including the begat
verses. For those of you who don’t know what the begat verses are — they are the lengthy geneology verses.
I don’t claim to be a deep
scholar of the Bible, Koran or any other religious
writings. I present here the logical questioning I have engaged in for years. I believe most people have questioned, but have in the end chosen not to challenge the status quo. As you know, religious
hatred and vengeance are the worst kind of hatred and vengeance in this world. The verse: Vengeance is mine saith the Lord
is just more proof that the Irish Republican Army, Ulster Defense Council, Jewish Defense League and countless Arab Muslim factions follow false religions!
You all know what I mean—you have seen their DEEDS
in the newspapers, and on television. They of course do these all in the NAME OF GOD
or ALLAH!
Let me begin this book with the cornerstone reason for this book — the question of God’s existence. If God does exist, then he created everyone and everything; then he also created all the laws of the natural universe. By these laws, we have learned that there are certain constants, constants being things that never can change, or be changed. Therefore, I present to you this constant: Imperfection cannot become perfect, or create anything perfect, or anything that can become perfect. Likewise, perfection cannot become imperfect, or create anything imperfect, or anything that can become imperfect. With this in mind, let us think about God now. Is God not proclaimed to be perfect? Also remember, God is proclaimed to be the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Therefore, everything God would create as perfect would have to remain perfect, like God, in order for God to remain perfect, and therefore remain as God. So, why blame God for things that are wrong or bad in this world? Obviously, we should blame Satan (i.e., the Devil), the religious of this world will say. STOP! I ask you — who created Satan? Answer: God. Now, think back to the constant I just gave you.
Let’s look a minute here at this character commonly known to all as Satan, Lucifer or the Devil. According to the Bible, God creates Lucifer to be the lead archangel over the other two archangels -Gabriel and Michael. Each archangel had control over one-third of the angels. A moment of logical injection here: The Bible says that Lucifer was the most beautiful and most powerful living being that God created next to himself. We can logically figure then that Lucifer, most likely, was the first living being ever created by God. With this in mind, I want to refer you Isaiah 14:12-14, where it explains how Lucifer desired to replace God on the throne. Here arises some serious logical questions! Lucifer, being created first, would know God the longest and the best. He, therefore, would know Gods’ infinite power, and the fact that God, as we are told throughout the Bible, is omnipresent. God is everywhere all the time. I take it that God would have created Lucifer with enough intelligence to process this information correctly. But the Bible tells us — and I am sure that you have heard the story — that Lucifer led his angels into rebellion. If we are to believe this story, we have to believe then that Lucifer suddenly became the dumbest living being in the entire Cosmos! Lucifer would not only be going against the all-powerful God
, but would also be going against the two archangels: Gabriel and Michael. Surely, the combined power of these two archangels would equal that of Lucifer. Oh, and let’s not forget about the matchup of angels! Lucifers’ one-third, would be going against the other two-thirds. Go ahead — you do the math! Basically, we are being told that the most powerful (and I would figure, the most intelligent) being next to God himself, suddenly has an I.Q. of 1! Ridiculous and preposterous, do not aptly describe the scenario of this story.
And now we are told that God put down this rebellion. So, God, as punishment for Lucifer and his angels, creates a place of intense fire we are told, called HELL. Lucifer and his angels will live there forever, in torment. At this point arises an interesting question. If hell was created for Lucifer and his angels, then obviously a trial concerning his actions was conducted and concluded, thus leaving only the sentence to be served. Having experience in the Federal Justice System, whenever a person is tried and convicted of a crime of violence (arson, murder, assault, and terrorism), he/she is immediately handcuffed and taken to jail. They are held in jail until the sentencing, usually in one or two months. Once the Judge announces the sentence, the prisoner is taken immediately to serve that sentence. I ask you now — would not a rebellion be considered a crime of violence? You know, as well as I, that it would be. Therefore, why would God wait to make Lucifer start serving his sentence? God, I hope, would know the power of Lucifer since he created him. There is NO logic to this scenario! God, I hope, would be at least as logical as most of us humans. God, according to the Bible is an all-knowing being. We are told that he knows what will happen in the future. So, therefore, why would he leave such a powerful adversary free to potentially harm his next creation of earth and its people? In the Judicial System, this action itself would be considered criminally reckless!
One might ask here, why would the men writing about this think up a place of fire, without water, called hell. Well, remember where these men lived — the Middle East, a hot, arid area. Think how many times these men must have suffered under the heat from the sun. Imagine how many times they must have thirsted for even one drop of water on their tongue to cool them. Many of you have heard the verses in the Bible describing hell as such. They derived hell out of their common experience. I dare say — had these men had knowledge of the Arctic or Antarctic — they may well have chosen those climates to describe hell.
Again, back to the subject of Satan. I have heard, as many of you have, ministers explain why God has let Satan remain out on bond
. They say that it is because God wants us to have a choice. I say — nice story —but logic does not agree! I give you this scenario: a husband and wife have a child, say, 6 years old. There is a convicted, but now released on probation, child molester living next door. So mom and dad, knowing this, but wanting to give their child a choice, invite him over. Mom and dad sit the child down in the room with this man, then go out of sight into another room. The child molester has cupcakes, candies and maybe video games. Mom and dad whisper for the child to come to them from
