About this ebook
Sister Kimetta prophesied to me as we talked on the phone
As God had given me an assignment to write
And to this day the assignment has been out of my sight
As I have been so busy with everything else
Inspiration to write has set on a shelf
Payment for books have already been made
Million dollar poem created but I stand afraid
Afraid to ask for the price that God said
$20 was too much just rings in my head
So as I struggle for my husband to get here
Obedience to God he will be here next year
So pick up my pen and begin to write
This was the command given to me last night
As the single women things of her God
How she may please him and this is not odd
But the married women the husband she must trust
Obedience to my God I see is a must
So I have been writing all night long
As my husband beside me is where he belongs
I will get this book published then you will see
Pampoet is back as God is now pleased with me

My sister Kimetta is one of the more awesome Women of God I know.
She has been raised from deaths bed a time or two, stroke, heart attack, cancer just to name a few. But this is a sister that is sold out for God, has the prophetic gifting, and the voice, and God given words to speak life into a dead thing, such as my poetry that had simply died/set dormant within me. Now I am ready to run and do what God has anointed me to dowrite! This conversation took place on July 28th and within a week I had compiled the poems for this publication. This came about even though payment had been made well over four years ago. A word from the Lord empowered me to do in a week when uninspired it had taken me four years.
Thank You Kimetta!

Born into poverty in Oakland, Ca,1951; Pamela Ann Bowers the first girl of six boys I acquired the love of the written word at the age of 12 when for Christmas I was given a book of fables. Later in school I was introduced to poetry of which I acquired a keen liking. One of my favorite authors became Dr. Seuss. I started writing poetry as something fun to do when giving gifts or for ones birthday. I can go back and locate poems from the early 80’s of which some are within this first publication of some of my accumulative works. I have been writing poems off and on for over 30 years, never thinking one day I could or would become a published author. I believe success comes from God and support from some earthly beings. I would like to acknowledge a few people who have encouraged and inspired me to write the book. After having been inspired from God to write over four years ago, I received a call from a dear Sister and friend Kimetta Coleman telling me,” I had been disobedient to God as he had told me to write,” I could do nothing but cry in agreement as I had paid for the publication of this book over four years ago, but was never inspired to continue on with the publication of book. God told me to sale one of my copyrighted works, ”Leaf of Thanksgiving Eve, ”for $20.00 (which I have not done at this writing, but will?) as I said to myself,” no one would pay $20.00 for a poem. I would like to give a shout-out to Mitzi as she is the one that gave me the needed $25.00 to get this poem copywrited in 11/25/1997. Another source of discouragement to me was when one of my children told me that I wrote like Dr. Seuss. I felt Dr. Seuss books were so elementary and child like and received this statement in a negative light, until my dear Sister Kimetta ask me to listen to what I was saying, ”I wrote like Dr. Seuss.” We then laughed in agreement when she said;” could you use some Dr. Seuss money?” The greatest compliment and source of encouragement I could receive is when preparing poems for this book my youngest Granddaughter La’Trinity aka Angel Baby told me after me having introduced to her to Dr. Seuss writings she said,” Granny I like your poems better as I can understand them and they make more sense.” This was the words of an eight year old. I have recently read the ears off my first Granddaughter Taylor and she again, thinks Granny writes pretty well. My daughters Pam and Pat are ongoing sources of encouragement. Other people who have always had my back along this journey are my best friend and Sister Rena aka Corrine who helped me with the editing and printing of many documents, her daughters Naomi, Deborah and Anna, Sister Amanda, Betty, Birdie, Octavia and Tonya, any names not mentioned charge to my head and not to my heart. My husband and backbone, Bernard K. Botwe; I love you!

I write because:
Habakkuk 2:2 And the Lord answered me and said, "write" . . .
I write because:
Psalm 45:1 . . .my tongue is the pen of a ready
writer."
I write because:
Ecclesiastes 3:1To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: . . .
