    PREFACE

As always, all thanks, praise and glory are attributed to my Heavenly Father. This book was written under the Teacher’s anointing and goes forth with gratitude to all our readers, faithful friends and supporters.

With great joy I present this material and take no glory for this work. May you find the answers and meanings you have been searching for between these pages. For the scholar, may you master this topic in a coherent manner and apply godly wisdom in your expressions. My primary goal is that readers will be edified, encouraged and inspired.

For centuries now, and still today, people have been able to foretell the future, receive guidance and solutions to problems while asleep. Whether you desire to better understand dreams, visions, parables and riddles (dark sayings) the godly way or not, this simple handbook will assist you in interpreting the meanings.

The motivation to understand the phenomena of dreams and vision is increasing. In a world where many people have come to the realization that biblical prophecies are really unfolding before their eyes, they are seeking solutions and interpretations.

In accordance with biblical predictions concerning the Holy Spirit being poured out upon all flesh in the last days, knowledge has increased through dreams and visions in our sons and daughters, and the old and young. I challenge all those who experienced this outpouring to explore the concepts, interpret those dreams and live out every aspect of the visions. Additionally, research the terminologies within this book.

Through reviewing the Dream Glossary at the back of this book, it will help you to understand my role as a godly Interpreter of dreams. Studying and reading my books will help you to get to know me better as an Author. Listening to the sermons I preach will help you get to know me better as a preacher. Participating in my classroom lectures will help you get to know me better as an Educator. The better you know me, the more you will understand that it is my fervent desire to draw you, the reader, closer to a relationship with Jesus Christ.

My prayer is that God will open the spiritual eyes of those who are blind and unclog the ears of those who are deaf as they begin to recognize common examples in this book. It is our attention to attract the curious to the God-kind of revelations and definitions without the use of psychic paraphernalia or consultations.

Our instructional efforts have been widely accepted and incorporated in both religious and secular organizations. Most of the teachings in this book are offered through our Bible College, Baruch Leadership Training Academy, and in workshops which we facilitate around the world. A resource list of other exciting topics is provided at the back of this book. We offer degree and certificate programs on-campus at our North Miami and Goulds, Florida campuses and through our Correspondence Program. Learning Objectives:

    Each reader will acquire:

    a. An ability to apply interpretations of dreams and visions as strategies for growth

    b. The skill to interpret dreams and visions

    c. Current information about trends in aligning vision with issues facing Christian upward mobility

    d. An understanding of how to define the role and function of parables and dark sayings in scriptural context

Dreams are common to everyone. This phenomena has been around for centuries. Some people have encountered at least one episode during sleep and more than six in a lifetime. I have had hundreds of dreams over the years and countless visions. These encounters ignited a passion within me to understand their meanings. I was shocked to discover that I was gifted by God as an Interpreter of dreams. What a revelation!

Dreams are really a voyage into the unconscious and a way of expressing a hidden message. They are a means of exploring thoughts that haunt, stimulate, burden, mystify, excite, provoke, appeal or please the mind.

A well known psychologist, Sigmund Freud, once related dreams to something of an important source. He like other noted figures believed that dreams reveal things about our hidden-self, personality and emotions.

In support of biblical foundation and evidence, I believe that dreams are God’s natural way of conveying messages to mankind for future reference and obvious use. It is a clever part of God’s super-information highway in conjunction with directing mankind’s footsteps.

It has been noted by many theorists that dreaming is a function of the right hemisphere of the brain. Together with our emotions, we experience a pattern of messages that may not always be clear.

What do most dreamers do with dreams that haunt, terrify, or mystify?

They panic or seek out someone to explain their dreams. Often-times this leads to chaos and confusion on the part of the dreamer. At other times, it may lead to wrong advice and distortion. We must be very careful when sharing our dreams with others irregardless of their level of spirituality.

In addition to this, I submit to every reader that dreams like visions are a direct means of communication from God through divine inspiration to His people. More specifically, when we take the weight of our day burdens and concerns to bed, we do experience dreams that are overwhelming and impact our physical body and thought patterns the next day when we awake.

For years now, I have observed how when I was weighted down with day burdens they became my night burdens. I found myself dreaming more about encounters with movements like running, fighting and defending myself from some kind of shady figure who chased me somewhere. As silly as this may sound, the truth is that I did say my prayers before I went to bed and I still had the same kinds of dream episodes.

I had many sleepless nights over the years and yes I did read my bible too. I still had dreams which troubled me greatly and caused me to weep sorely before the Lord as a Preacher. I came to realize like King Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel chapters 2-5) that the night visions about my head were about confrontations of either a weakness, negative emotion, unresolved issue, or an impending challenge.

    I sought
