Dealing With That Person - Corey A. Yoakam

    Introduction

How hard is it to give respect to someone who has publicly criticized you? Extremely hard. Let’s be real, you hate them. No ifs, ands or buts, you hate them. Luckily for you, they hate you too. Its okay. You don’t need to exchange Christmas cards with each other.  With that being said, it does not mean you must get into a shouting match when you see each other. This also doesn’t mean you should go out and bad mouth them. Arguments generally do not end with a winner; however, debates do have winners, though most think that any and all participants may have won. That is good though, it means that a healthy debate and compromise occurred when both people feel they have won.

We all have someone like that in our lives. This individual will argue with you and disagree with you vehemently. Though, as we all know, people have opinions, some stronger than others. Therefore, it is expected that people will have different views. I have a lot of those people in my life. I am on a school board.
